Good product and excellent service
This is product is great. But you need to pay attention about your bike frame size. The slot to hold the frame is small, but not many people know they could remove the plastic part to hold a big frame. The first one is perfect for my bike and we travel more than two thousand miles with the rack and no problem at all! The second one I bought has a little problem and failed at the first day. I did check the rack and it is in good shape, just the know cant rolled in tight enough without the key! I returned it and they refund me the next day. I really enjoy this rack and it it not the best, but worth every penny!

Worked, sturdy, great value and quality
Worked well for on top of our mini-van. We fit 2 adult bikes and one teenager bike up there. Bikes were nice and sturdy for us, no problems or issues. Was a little more cumbersome putting on than had anticipated, but not impossible. Not going to complain too much as the price was incredible for the quantity and quality. Paired with Keeper 85213 13' Lashing Strap - Pack of 2 just for extra support in case.

Works great, inexpensive
This roof rack works great. It's a little flimsy and the jaw only opens so wide so you're limited on what bikes work with it. But that being said you can't beat the price.

Poorly built product that did not fit my vehicle well
I can’t honestly say anything positive about this product. It comes in two halves that need to be bolted together; despite tightening the bolts well, there was a considerable gap between the two halves where they overlapped. The bolts that were included did not all match. It attaches to the crossbars with a set of U-shaped threaded bolts that scratched my crossbars and were difficult to tighten to an appropriate level to prevent the tray from shifting around. The tray, when assembled, was barely long enough to accommodate my bike. The hinged bar that holds the frame was directly in the way of the pedals and bottom bracket of my bike and could not be fitted onto the frame. As it is one day beyond the return period and Amazon won’t take it back, it’s going directly to the scrap heap.

Fantastic!!!
I drove 12+ hours on the interstates through several major cities when I moved back to college with my bike on my roof and it was secured the whole time! I checked it each time I stopped and never once had an issue. I love this! Easy to use when my bike is on there and I can barely tell its there when my bike isn't. Absolutely fantastic product and I can't recommend it enough!

Unstable
While this is a good value for the money it won’t hold a bike over 15 pounds very securely. My 35 pound mountain would flop all over while driving. The clamp also broke when I drove in a small dip. It is still usable but I don’t think it will make it through the season.

Great deal for the money - close to a realllly great deal
So...on the fence with this one - solid product and definite value for the money but they advertise to the absolute limit of the products true capability. Bought two of these for a roof rack on a SUV and the install/mounting flexibility is super simple. Be careful when connecting the main pieces as the nuts aren’t the highest quality and you can strip them out easily if you’re not careful. I’d struggle to recommend this to someone looking to move a “high end” 29er or even 27.5” MTB. The supplied wheel straps are too short but that’s easily remedied with a trip to your local hardware store for some tougher Velcro straps. The ‘track’ struggles to accept any tire close to 2.3” but we carried up to a 2.4”. On today’s bigger bikes the overall length is just too much for this - the thin metal will twist with the slightest angle when mounting the bike. The bike is still secure/safe - but it worried me. The frame/tube clamps are up to the task but make sure they’re very tight and then turn it twice more **AND ALWAYS LOCK IT** I initially was locking for safety when making pit-stops but found that normal road vibrations could loosen the clamp enough for it to slip down and then the bikes become VERY top heavy. Overall a great product for lighter/smaller bikes or shorter trips for bigger bikes. Just take your time and make sure the bikes are secure

After 4 years I'm buying another
We bought this four years ago. We have driven thousands of miles with a bike in it. The bike has always been very secure and steady even when driving across Wyoming at 100mph.Pros: Durable; strong; holds the bike safely and securely; holds all sizes of bikes from my daughter's bike with 12-inch wheels to mine with 29-inch wheelsCons: The little straps are useless, but we only used them a few times and I don't think it needs them at all; Sometimes you have to open the clamp part pretty far to get the bike in but it only takes an extra 20 seconds or soThe bottom line is that this rack is a steal. I forgot that my bike was up there and tried to pull into the garage. The bike and the rack did just fine, the facia and soffit not so much. With that collision, it did dent the tray part of the rack. After three years that dent part started to rust, so we bought another one. I expect most brands would have done that considering what I did to it.
