I am a 73 yr old man with a lot of time on my hands looking for a distraction while waiting for COVID-19 to go away.So far I have spent about 6 hours just putting together just one of the twelve robots possible. Assembled with care and filing the pieces as they are removed from the sprues it performs as advertised. Hint: just shine a strong flashlight at the solar panel and away it goes. Maybe not for a youngster of 8 without help, but a fun thing to do with kids or grandkids.

get yourself a good pair of flush cutters to do this project. You can't leave little pieces of plastic all around and expect it to work.Once you get the base modules built then it's really fun for the kids to build the separate projects. It was a great family activity.

Nowadays kids are fully addicted in screens (cellphone or computer)..this is a great Tech toy teaches the concepts through hands-on. Under 10, it requires an adult support for first time STEM toy user. However it is great gift for kids who likes to build things and feel more passion about it. I would suggest adults to take pictures of parts before give it to the kids.It’s a feather light and easy to handle.My suggestion: I recommend the manufacturer give little more bigger drawings and text/user manual to make every ones life little bit essier

He is very advanced for his age, and will love the challenge. It comes with a booklet that explains and shows how to put this project together. I was very impressed with the whole thing.

He really likes to build his first rebort toy! Good this time! 190 small pictures he played longer. The quality is good! It is not easy for children to assemble. But this is a good family project. Build these. They are fun and attractive. I will definitely introduce these in the class. We spent the entire Saturday afternoon assembling it. My son is happy to help me find the debris.

I brought the Ivetto stem toy for my 9 yr old nephew as a birthday present.My nephew was so excited as he loves to build and create. With this item you can create 12 different items. I like that it works on Solar outdoors and uses AAA batteries if using indoors. It is both educational and fun, a great way to help teach kids about science and robotics. It is also easy to assemble. This was a great buy for a birthday gift at a reasonable price.

I purchased this as a gift for a neighbors son. He gets so much joy out of it. Assembly was very simple. Made of a good quality which is good because he’s really rough on his toys. So far he’s satisfied with it and hasn’t broken it.

This item does not work as described. I am quite handy and was able to carefully put one together. The power unit does not work even in full direct sunlight due to gears not fitting smoothly.The other components fitting is a hit or miss which makes the entire "robot" wobbly and unstable, so no rolling or standing is possible.Maybe there are better kits out there for more money, with some key components made of metal or better fit, but these ones are a joke.Great idea, very poor execution.
