Inexpensive highly functional soap mold
This product has several positive features: the interior mold fits snugly but the wooden box is easy to remove. The mold releases easily from the cp soap. The construction of the box is quite good. The lid is a little flimsy and has already warped. In fact it warped after first cp use. So it 'cups' up. If you need it to fit more snugly, this could be a problem. I solved it NY putting plastic wrap between lid and loaf. I'd buy again.

Perfect small loaf size and function
This wouldn't want this as a primary mold for doing business, but it is perfect for doing small 2.5 lb batches, and with a little care and proper treatment, it should last for years. I only do cold process soap so I can only attest to it's satisfactory function for this, but see no reason why it wouldn't work for everything.Pros- Properly formed silicone mold, easy to clean, easy to slip a finished loaf of soap out of. It won't hold up to a batch without the box, but since the box is part of it, that's not an issue. Fits the box perfectly, so removing it from the box is easily done. The silicone thickness isn't great, but again, the box is there for sturdy support. While the silicone mold is empty and can sag in towards the center when it's empty, it's just a slight bend. I found when I filled it, just a little finger pressure was all that was necessary to pull the mold back to the sides and then the weight of the soap kept it tight. Taping it to the side is another option, but not one that I've found necessary.- Box and lid. This isn't heavy duty lumber and won't take abuse, but I have no intention of putting it to any kind of test. Everything fits well, lays flat on the table, and along with the silicone liner, creates a perfect seal with the top so that you aren't losing volatile compounds when going through saponification. Seriously, not even the smell from the fragrance leaks out past this seal to any extent. So far I've purchased 3 of them, one of which is several years old and it's in perfect shape, minus a few stains on the box from drips or something. I don't need any more right now, but would have no question but to purchase more of these as necessary.

Work as designed
They are much better than my home made ones. And cost was right.

Minor issue
I just got these soap molds and poured soap in them today. One of the handles on the cover arrived unattached.I tried to set the nails using a hammer and screwdriver, but the nails are so small and short, it didn't work. It's a minor issue, but not sure why there's not a better mechanism to secure the handles to the lids.
