With all blow up mattresses they recommend you blow this up before you use it but ...
My boyfriend and I went on a week long camping trip in florida and we needed a bed that would last the whole time. I am so impressed that we didn't need to blow this up more than just the first night. With all blow up mattresses they recommend you blow this up before you use it but we didn't have time before we left. So the first day we camped we blew it up and let it sit for a couple hours then we slept on it for the first time and it held 90% of it's air. We blew it up to 100% the next morning and didn't have to worry about it for the next 5 days. It was great!!! We have since then used it on 3 other camping trips and it hasn't let us down. We left this blown up in the direct Florida sun as well and it got hot, like anything would, but it still held up. And it is easy to pack up with just being able to roll it i the carrying case. I ALWAYS try to put our tent on the flattest surface, preferably in the shade, with a tarp underneath the tent and some times even a thicker pad underneath the mattress so that nothing is poking up and puncturing the mattress. With this system we have had good luck with good mattresses, but you can always tell when the lesser quality mattresses are going to give out no matter what you do. This is the first air mattress I have tried that was taller than the standard 8-10inch mattress and I will probably never go back to the short beds. Because of its height, we have better sleep and even on the first night sleeping on it when it deflated a little bit, we still slept comfortably! I have recommended this mattresses to many people, even those who are cautious of air mattresses - It is definitely worth giving it a try.

Holds a lot of weight without losing any air
My wife and I recently got talked into a camping weekend, and as neither of us has camped in decades, we wanted to do so in a bit of luxury. I'm a rather large dude, and I've laid on enough beds that lost all of their air to know I wanted a good bed, and this is it! The first night I mistakenly suggested filling it extra firm (we're both side sleepers fond of softer beds) thinking that it would inevitably lose air. It didn't :-( It was rock hard, like we inflated it. It didn't lose a single bit of air. The second night we took that into account and let a bit out, and it was much much more comfortable! Inflating went easy with a Coleman AC air pump, and deflating went easy enough with some body weight and rolling. It was a bit tough to roll it nice and neat, but we got it rather compact again once we tried a bit harder at home. My only complaint, and it's minor, the weird flocked side grabs dirt and cannot really be cleaned. We use sleeping bags and a sheet on it, so it's no biggie, but once a tiny bit of mud finds this, not even a clorox wipe will help. That aside, this is an air mattress that can hold some serious weight and not lose any air. That's amazing given some nightmare experiences that I've had.

A nice sturdy basic air mattress
I just got this mattress a few days ago. Im going to go camping in two weeks and I wanted to give myself plenty of time to try this out first. The good: The boxing was awesome Coleman standards and was easy to unbox. This mattress does have a strong odor, however, I am still in the process of giving it time to breathe. I set this up in my living room and used my new battery operated air pump and it was painless. The double seal on the mattress is great so air won't leak badly while you unhook the air pump. I wanted to see if there was any problems. I have had this mattress inflated in my living room for two days and NO PROBLEMS! Ill watch tv and lay on it to test out how much stretching the material will give and if it's as good of quality that I expect Coleman to have. So far, so good. The mattress is holding air well. I was actually impressed with the size of this mattress. A bit bigger than I anticipated. Im a plus sized person and I thought Id go with a queen instead of a twin size. I may have overshot lol. I can lay on this thing and still have plenty of room for another smaller person/child. I could squeeze another person of my size with some contact. Two average/large size adults would have plenty of room. The mattress does stretch and there are a lot of signs on the box, manual, and even on the mattress that tells you so. So many people think its loosing air. It is not! Plus air expands and contracts with change in temperature ;) The mattress is for far very comfortable. I have yet to put in my tent I set up in my backyard (another new product try out). I also bought a new double sleeping bag and it fits almost perfectly! (I read up on measurements to get a good idea but give or take a few inches depending on the measurements of your double sleeping bag). I have not tried sheets on this mattress yet. This mattress is pretty sturdy from what I can gather. In the future, I may invest in a mattress toper but Im going to test this on my camping trip first. The bad: The odor is pretty strong. I set it up as soon as it came in the mail. The next day, my living room smelled like the mattress so definitely expect and prepare for a lot of off-gassing of the materials that make up this mattress. off-gassing is pretty normal, however, some of you folks really do not like it or are very sensitive to smells. Next time, ill be sure to set up in my garage lol. I've read that the smell will go away mostly in a few days so Im not too worried. But while camping, Id rather smell the redwoods than my stinky mattress while Im in my tent. I will test out on my camping trip and leave an updated review. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because so far I'm happy but very slightly displeased with the smell and I also haven't gone camping yet. I may go to five stars after the off-gassing and after I test it out on my trip. Overall, Im very happy with my mattress. I did think about buying a fancier one with a built in air pump but, this is only my second air mattress and I won't be using it very often. Only for camping and for occasional guests. I also didn't feel right buying an expensive air mattress for almost double the price. Update: it’s been several years since I have bought my air mattress and I have used it a handful of times on camping and for guests. I’m very pleased with the quality of materials and this air mattress is very sturdy! It holds very well!! The smell does still reside… however it does get a bit better.

Used every night for over a year
Bought this because I didn't want to purchase an expensive normal bed due to my transient lifestyle. I live in an apartment and at any time could be required to move to another state due to my job. Didn't want to be bothered with moving or selling furniture on short notice. Expected this thing to last a few months before it developed a leak and figured if it lasted that long, could just buy another. 14 months later, it finally developed a leak and needed to be replaced. Ordered another and it arrived a few days ago and I hope it lasts as long as the first if I need it that long. Really cannot tell the difference between this air mattress and a normal bed or expensive mattress when I sleep. I really appreciate the height of the thing as it makes it very easy to hit the floor and get going in the mornings. No real drawbacks for me with this except about once a month, I need to add a little air to firm it up. That isn't really due to leaks so much as the thing just keeps expanding over time. When the last one died, it was probably about 4 inches taller and a foot wider that when it was new. I sure recommend this model to those who have short term requirements or just don't want to spend the money required to get a permanent bed.

Very Good Air Mattress
I bought this new air mattress to replace my old one for camping. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I blew it up for the first time this weekend. I figured I would have to add air by the time I went to bed that night but to my surprise no more air was needed. And I did not have to add air for the whole weekend. It was very comfortable to sleep on. Was very easy to let the air out and deflated pretty quickly. I also loved the fact that it had like a little storage bag/wrap around for it so didn't have to struggle with getting it back in a bag or box. Also ordered the air pump that was recommended to go with it and it pumped the bed up fast. Very pleased all around with the experience. Would definitely purchase this product again.

Very nice mattress
Superbly comfortable IF … when first inflated to a firm level (where in the pictures you can see I’m pressing very hard and the mattress is resisting a lot) it was more comfortable than I had even hoped (back issues) in fact it was more comfortable than most hotel mattress beds! BUT there’s a caveat which is written into the mattress by the valve says “all air mattresses STRETCH” and this is very true. With a small battery powered pump the first time I got it to be firm and comfortable as stated above but by about seven days later the mattress had stretched and the pump was no longer able to get it back to a firm level because the pump did not have enough pressure. So I got a hand pump and was now able to get it back to a firm level like when I first inflated it. It takes a lot of air and the only way you can get it firm after it stretches is with a tire pump or a hand pump. But I will say that with the hand pump I’m very pleased again with this mattress! Will see you in another 7 to 10 or 14 days if the mattress keeps stretching a bit or whether it’s stretched out after seven days and will see if it stretches more if the hand pump will keep getting it back to the firm level that I need which is probably more firm than most people would like.

Great, Comfy, Holds Air for Daaayyys!
This air mattress is great. I’ve slept on it for two weeks and was comfyyy. It DOES need a top off of air after first use after being inflated because it does stretch a bit! I like to inflate it fully and then lounge on it a while before bed so I stretch it out a bit before sleep time. Then I top it off with some air before I sleep. Otherwise just top it off after the first nights sleep. It stays good for daaaayyyys! I love how tall it is too. All in all very pleased with this high quality and comfortable mattress. Just a note: air pump not included.

After a few uses, a hole appeared on the seam of the mattress.
After a few uses, a hole appeared on the seam of the mattress. The mattress started deflating. This is a defective product. I would like to request a replacement or a refund. They ship in Europe, but service centres are only in US and Canada.

Comfortable Quality Air Mattresses
These are the best air mattresses I’ve ever used (I have two). They’re comfortable and while you’ll need to pump them up a little bit each night that’s a small price to pay for the quality. I’ve had several friends stay on these and borrow them and everyone agrees these are the most comfortable air mattresses they’ve slept on. The material is thick and I’ve even had several pets lie on them and they’ve never been punctured. Just to be aware, if you’re sleeping in a cold place the air inside the mattress will be cold so these aren’t necessarily the best camping air mattresses.

Great spare bed for visitors
Bought for visitors staying at our house, but found myself laid on it when we were in the middle of a house move. For an airbed it's surprisingly comfortable and seems very resistant to cuts.

amazing quality and 100% recommended
I absolutely love the double high air mattress. I had the single one for almost 2 yrs and used it almost 7days a week during that time , so when I did die I wasn't too sad about it lol I decided to get this one the double high because it would be easier for me to get up out of and it is!! During the summer it gets way too hot in my apartment so I have to sleep in the livingroom and thats what I've been using it for since may6th 2020 and today is August 27th 2020 and I haven't had to add any air at all since I inflated it at the start of May. I also have 4 huge cats that use it as trampoline with 0 issues lol I recommend 100% even if it does only last a short while i think its worth it since its being uses as a regular mattress instead of its intended use..
