I’ve been in a cast for a month and this was a total lifesaver for me! If you’re hesitating on buying this, don’t hesitate any longer. It was full reach and more, and it had gently nubs on it that did not scratch me or hurt me, and it was flexible enough for me to use. I’m 5’ 10” with long arms. My cast was almost to my elbow, and I still had plenty of reach with this scratcher. I didn’t use wipes with mine, but this is a totally safe and effective scratcher. ~Christina

This little thing was my best friend for 4 monthswhile wearing a cast. There’s an itch, it’ll scratch it. Very maneuverable and gently touches the skin so no harsh scratching. Easy to clean and store. I hope to never have a cast again but if I do, this will be waiting.

I purchased this prior to getting a cast, which I knew I’d be getting after surgery. ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER. This seemingly simple product is really fabulous. I thought I may use but never anticipated just how good it is. It’s very flexible and can easily slip under the cast. It’s not sharp so cannot damage the skin. Best part are the nubby ends. I don’t know what I’d do without it.

It scratches all the hard to reach spots while wearing a cast. I used it for 4 of my 6 weeks and its necessary. It broke in in half after 2 weeks of use. I duck taped it because I couldn't live without it. Today it broke in a second spot. Luckily I get my cast removed in 2 days. I would say it is still worth the money. I most likely would have thrown it away after the cast was removed anyway. A bit bummed that it couldn't hold up for a month though.

my daughter is in a cast and has been in one for the past three months. And when your arm is in a cast, what happens is that the skin under the cast cannot shut the dead skin and so it’s just layers on top of each other. And the skin under the cast begins to really itch. And it nearly drives Her crazy because she can’t get to the itch. I did some research and it seems like it’s a common issue and this is a great solution. It has a rounded plastic flexible edge so that it’s not going to break the skin but also will get to the itch. Because the piece is not sharp enough for a proper itch is not completely satisfying, but it’s better than nothing. And it’s also better than having cuts within the sensitive skin, which could cause bigger issues like infection.

I broke my wrist and it is just what i needed to scratch under my cast.A little pricey since i found a set of 2 for about the same price after i ordered this.
