The product works great. I like this multi symptom caplet version as well as the single ingredient gel cap version. This one does have the simethicone for gas and bloating symptoms. These can easily be broken in half, and if anything, they are easier to swallow after being broken, as the caplets are a bit larger. While they do start to dissolve in the mouth before swallowing, they also do have a pleasant taste, and a little sweetness. I am writing this review, primarily because, as many reviewer have pointed out, it is difficult to open the packaging to get to the pills. Specifically, each pill is packaged individually, in a way that is hard to open, as it says to tear at the notch, but that notch does not reach all the way to the edge of the plastic material, so you would need to tear through the plastic, which is quite difficult. Some similar packages what have you been to the material so the notch is that at the edge, but this packaging does not work that way. My method makes it quite easy to open them though. As soon as I open the box, I pull out all of the sheets of pills, meaning each sheet of six pills, I fold each sheet in half the long way, and then I use a scissors to make a small cut to extend the notch to the edge of the packaging. Then it is then quite easy to tear each pill open when needed. I have attached a couple photos in an attempt to show you what I mean. Just extending that notch with a scissors makes it very easy to tear each one open when needed. I am just careful not to cut all the way into the pill area, so that the pills still stay fresh. This has been super helpful for me. I hope this is helpful for you.
