Mixes easily with water or soft food. My baby chihuahua who is 9 weeks and 2.5lbs enjoys this added to her food. I still give this to my growing puppy as an occasional treat, and she LOVES it! She will lick down an entire bowl of it in seconds! You get a good amount for the price as well!

If you're a breeder or caregiver of pets it's a good idea to keep this on hand. Works well as a supplement for feeding babies. Must taste good and have good nutrition for strength and endurance. Easy to use.

This is best used to mix in with weaning puppy's food. It is less expensive than the liquid, but try as I might, I could not get the clumps out when I mixed it with water for nursing. Clogs up the nipple.

I was a bit nervous on previous reviews on lumps but I noticed when using boiled water if the water was too hot it would form lumps but if it cools to warm water it mixes well. The mom couldn't nurse so we had to take over after 5 days and all the pups are thriving and growing great and happy.
