I've been using the TN247 toner cartridges for a while now, and I'm thoroughly impressed! The quality is on par with the original cartridges at a fraction of the price. We have ordered those numerous time for our Brother HL-L3270CDW, and always worked fined. One of the toner I ordered 5 months ago wasn't recognised yesterday so contacted the company. Got an answer straight away and after we couldn't fix the issue they offered to send a replacement straight away. Top notch customer service. Much appreciated.

I've had a bad experience with printers (especially hp) throughout my working life, so the thought of getting non-brand ink doesn't feel good... but in fairness, I just can't afford the Brother pricetag. I almost returned them, since I didn't follow the instructions and of course, they didn't fit my printer (or so I thought), but after checking and trying again, the cartridge slid into place and went straight to work! No problems with it since installation and I had to replace a second cartridge now, which was easy enough. They work well, I had no "adjustment period " of ink blobs/stains and so far, I'm very happy with my purchase. Affordability is just the cherry on the top.

One of the huge advantages with a laser printer (as opposed to an inkjet) is that 'compatible' toner will produce results that are near-identical to genuine toners. Unlike my Epson inkjet (used for printing photos) there's no risk of damage to a laser printer with non-geniune toners. However, one thing to be aware of is that "compatible" toners such as these are often refilled or remanufactured. This in itself isn't a problem, but there is a chip on the cartridge which needs to be reset when the cartridge is refilled. On one of the set of these I'd purchased (the Cyan cartridge) this had not been done, and the cartridge was indicating that it was empty despite clearly being full of cyan toner. Fortunately there is a hidden service menu on the printer that allows the chip to be reset in-situ: - With the printer powered on, open the top cover - Press the Back and Cancel buttons at the same time - Release both buttons then immediately press the Back button - Using the up and down arrows, scroll to the correct cartridge (shown on the display) then press Enter. The printer will then reset the chip in the cartridge. In my case I selected "TN-247C" (high capacity cyan) on the display. Docked a star for this (and gave 2 out of 5 for ease of installation), however as long as you're happy doing this if required, this set represents very good value. You get a set of four high-capacity toners (black, cyan, magenta and yellow) for less than the price of a single genuine Brother toner, and the print quality is indistinguishable from the genuine Brother toners that came with the printer. These are also the TN-247 high-capacity toners, not the standard TN-243 type. Would I buy these again? As a 'techie' type who doesn't mind fiddling with the printer service menu to get things working - yes, absolutely. Just be aware of this if you're the type of person who just wants to slot in the new toner and for things to 'just work'.

Registers ok on the toner life graphs. No problems in fitting them colours good and strong.

Dont work in my printer although the right model for it

This is the second time that I've purchased these toner cartridges from this supplier - and I see no reason to look elsewhere when these run out. These are simply great value and excellent quality. Whenever I do a print job, I never give any thought to the quality of the printouts, because they are consistently excellent. They are very easy to fit and work well - which is all that what is required. In the current economic climate, I see no reason to spend more elsewhere, especially for no tangible or visible benefits.
