attwood Stainless Steel Barbed Short Straight Thru-Hull

This is a nice thru-hull but beware the info on it is wrong. The bullet points are all wrong, they give the specs for an Attwood # 66441-1 and it is actually an Attwood 6542-1. I bought it for a 3/4" ID hose barb and 1" thread OD as they say but it actually is for a 1" ID hose barb and 1 3/8" thread OD.

Purchased these to upsize and upgrade my 20' aluminum jet boat. Very pleased with the quality of this Stainless Steel Barbed Short Straight Thru-Hull. I had to enlarge the hole to the correct size. I used silicon on the lip touching the outside wall of the boat. It has a low-profile form and nut on the back screwed on with no problems. Will purchase again to replace one more plastic Thru-Hull.

This was the third try and was finally successful. The first, smaller Atwood fitting was just as advertised. THIS larger one showed up with mfg defects. The second was missing a part. I finally got the part I ordered of acceptable quality.

These are good quality stainless thru hull fittings. I went with the short version due to limited space because I needed to route the hose around some rod holders. They worked out well.

I used this to match the factory stainless fittings on a Cobalt 252 - They match perfectly and the quality is great.
