Incontinence Pads for Women, Organic Cotton Cover (Ultimate, 20 Ct)

These pads are comfortable and work well for heavier days or postpartum use. The cotton cover feels soft and doesn’t irritate my skin, and the absorbency is very good. I also like the longer length and leak guard design, which makes me feel more secure during the day or overnight. Overall, they are a good quality option and I would buy them again.

These pads are the best!! I have very sensitive skin and no issues. The delivery is prompt and many size choices is helpful too

This Rael product was so good when I first bought it in 6/2021. Perfect size, cotton, and apparently free of irritating chemicals, so worth the higher price. A month or 2 ago I read reviews that the thickness had been reduced, and customers weren’t pleased. The co. responded they were using a new and more absorbent inner material so less product was needed. I’m extremely disappointed w/this new version and have canceled my Subscribe & Save order. Not only is this thinner & less absorbent, it’s not as long or wide, & the adhesive strip covers less & doesn’t hold as well. Why do companies insist on changing a good thing? The only positive is these have only increased in price by $1 in 16 mos. I’d rather pay a few more $ to keep the original product if necessary than decrease all the quality to keep prices down. Do manufacturers actually think consumers won’t notice? Were we paying attention yrs ago when sugar was suddenly a 4-lb. bag instead of 5 lbs. and coffee, etc. was 13-14 oz. instead of 16 oz.? We were. Now the search resumes for a replacement for a better product to replace Rael.

UPDATE 5/9/22: ------ What happened to these??? I ordered the exact same items, the MODERATE and ULTIMATE and they are now approximately 50% THINNER (if not more)!!! And appear shorter in length as well, yet still the same price! Total BS. I won't be purchasing again. have no urinary incontinence needs, nor am I postpartum but use these for my menstrual period overnight or heavy days at home and they are the best - yet I think they'd work well for those needs also. They are SO much better to me than pads marketed for periods mainly because they are longer, wider, and thicker and don't have those damn useless "wings" that never stay stuck anyway! I have used Poise ultimates and Tena brands before trying these but those pads are stiffer and have patterns and tend to stick to me a bit (if that makes sense?) These are so much softer, no irritating pattern that rubs me wrong, and just feel like a soft, conforming pillow. On a particularly heavy day I was called away from home quickly and normally if I am going to be out all day I'd wear a tampon but I didn't have time or think about it and just ran out and guess what? I didn't even notice I was wearing it which would never happen with the largest ultimate Poise pad and they stuck just fine to my underwear. In the past if I wore one of those other brands out running around, it would irritate me, or bunch up wrong, or since they are long in the back it would be noticable. But again, NOT with this pad - it's so soft and more pliable I guess I would say. Sorry to write so much about such a simple product but I love them. I just wish I had found them sooner! ***I also bought and wear the "moderate" size of these for lighter menstrual days which is about the same size and thickness of regular old maxi pads (like Stayfree, etc...) that many of us age 40+ grew up with (not thins). ***Also cannot stress enough the love I have for NO imprinted pattern and the softness as opposed to those other brands stiffness and irritation they can cause. For those reasons alone, I'll pay extra for these happily. If any of my needs and preferences are like yours, try them :)

UPDATED REVIEW FOR NEW VERSION OF ULTIMATE: HORRIBLE. There was no indication from seller that these pads had changed. I ordered two packages and quickly realized that they had significantly changed. They are super thin and there is barely any padding. I decided to try one pad last night and it was a disaster. I coughed and urine saturated the pad, saturated my underwear and my pants. When I removed the pad, urine actually dripped onto the floor. I'm so disappointed. I thought I had found the perfect pad and to be honest, I felt completely confident when wearing the Ultimate and never worried about any ' accidents' occurring. My panties were never wet..NEVER! I wouldn't trust these for anything more than using as a panty liner. These are so thin. The other annoying thing is that the outer sleeve for each pad is attached/glued to the pad. I thought it was just a manufacturing defect but it's not. If you want to spend an extra minute or 2 trying to get the pad out of its sleeve, go for it but I think it's awful and WEIRD. A perfectly effective pad is now ruined and I must find another source. I no longer recommend these for bladder leaks. ORIGINAL REVIEW: have nerve damage that makes it difficult to hold my urine sometimes and decided to try these cotton pads. I hate the synthetic pads because they irritate me. I ordered both the Ultimate and the Moderate and here's my experience: The Ultimates are very long and very wide. I don't have any issues with the length but the width is a bit much at first. However, once it gets warm and fitted, it's not noticeable. I will only wear this pad at night or for short periods during the day since it is a little too bulky and I am self conscious about anyone noticing it. I have however worn it with a dress and it's fine. The Moderate is perfect for me and does a really good job of containing urine spurts though I would not recommend depending on this for steady urine flows ( like a 'diaper panty' would). I wear this every day and can barely tell it's there. I feel much more confident with it on and I don't have any irritation throughout the day. I'll probably continue to purchase both sizes but the Moderate will continue to be my no. 1 choice for every day.

When I first got these pads and opened them I thought, “wow these are huge!!!!” and wasn’t sure I would actually be using them or not. They’re much larger (double the size!) than the ones provided by the hospital after the birth of my baby. The size eventually came in handy as I had a small hemorrhage and I was so pleased with the length and thickness. I experienced no leakage. I almost always felt dry (I think for the purpose of urinary incontinence you would feel entirely dry). They are incredibly durable! There was no reaction to my skin and I am so thankful for the quality of the material in such a ‘sensitive’ area. Something I do want to mention (maybe TMI) is if you do plan on using these for postpartum and have quite heavy bleeding, shave your lady bits just a tad. I was letting everything heal so I hadn’t touched up down there and my pubes actually stuck to the dried blood and that was like a free wax I wasn’t expecting. Ouch. Overall I would use these again for another baby. In my personal use, I used them all. For an uncomplicated postpartum, you will only need a few of the pads but they are worth it!

Bit longer than expected, but they worked well. I didn't get any rashes or experience any discomfort. I purchased them because I was taking a long bus trip and wanted them in case of an accident, as I dislike the bathrooms on the bus.
