Boat Ballast Bag - Portable and Pumpless - 50 lb. - Wakesurfing and Wakeboarding

These are well built, no leaks. I'm careful with the handles. I don't pick up/carry them by the handles after reading other reviews. Makes sense. They're heavy when full. I bought 4 of these (200#) to help out while our kids were away on vacation and they help the wave. Really easy to fill and move around. Highly recommend over added steel shot if you have limitations at your dock or trailer, depending on how much weight you run. It's also a great value when compared to most alternatives like shot now.

We bought 2 of these to add ballast because we didn't want to buy anymore steel shot 50lbs bags, have to keep them dry or they rust. They are easy to fill and we move them around for a better wake. Very happy with them and the zipper does seal the bag, so if you lay them down they don't leak.

these are great and easy to maneuver. we are using them to raise the swim deck out of the salt water for mooring and they are super easy to use.

My boat alway had an uneven ballast to the starboard side, which made docking a nightmare, this solved the problem. I put 2 under the passenger seat and the boat tracks perfectly level now. The product itself works as intended, no leaks, thick material, with strong handles. You can easily fill/empty the product as needed, when I add passengers I just empty one and the boat remains level. At 50lbs each they can be lifted and moved with ease.

The silver ones have a better opening and zipper, plus two handles. Way easier and more effective for the same or less price. Barely got 35lb in these.

The bag doesn't just fill up. You have to dunk it over and over drag through the water to slowly get water in the bag. It does not work will at all. I end up using my pump to fill it.

This is great if your looking for something compact! The handle does start to come off from use.

Great product, zipper seals tight. Easy to fill, stays put on boat. Easy to dump. Folds ups and does not take up much space for storage. Seems very durable!

I needed a way of ballasting my sailing dinghy to get her bedded down deeper in the water to make her more stable and help with righting her after a capsize. Four bags giving a total weight of 200LBS strapped to the floorboards either side of the centreboard works very nicely. Being water they are not in the boat for towing, launching or retrieval, they are filled before setting sail and emptied when the day is over. The bags are very strongly constructed and easily filled. I used a small baling bucket to get them really full. My boat now wants to right herself when capsized and that's great for my peace of mind...

Purchased this bag to use for ballast in a tiller fishing boat when riding alone. Placed in the bow, it stops the bounce and certainly is more functional than the plastic pails I had been using. Bag folds flat for storage (something I couldn’t say about the pails) and appears to be well made with a very sturdy zipper. Happy with the purchase and will probably order another for a second boat.

Deux sac sur le devant d’une prince craft 14 pieds augmente la stabilité et le confort. Un gros plus. Facile d’utilisation et rangement facile et peut encombrant. Mais attention échapper pas l’ancre dessus. La bonne nouvelle facile à réparer.

Very convenient to have onboard to add some extra weight where needed. A small bucket is nice to have to finish filling the bag.
