Can the battery be replaced when it will no longer hold a charge?

the battery can be replaced: just disassemble the back of the amplifier - 4 screws, one on each corner - unplug the battery and replace... simper simple! however, the replacement battery is typically the same price - if not more - than the system itself so not really worth the hassle or price.

When I turn it on, the red light is on. Do I need to charge it? Also, when I plug in to charge, the red, green light is blinking. is it full charged?

Red light just shows that power is on. When the light is blinking it is charging. It will be steady green when it's fully charged.

Mine did "NOT" come with an AC adapter cable. Was it just missing or does this not come with a way to charge?

mine didn't come with a charger either, so I bought rechargeable batteries and recharged them that way.

What are the uses you have given to this item? And how is the built and performance quality?

I use the amplifier in the classroom daily and the product is made of good quality, easy to use. However, I would prefer that the belt fasteners were better attached to the amplifier, but it is a great product and worth the money if you talk alot to save your vocals. On the days I don't use it, my voice is strained.
