Great leather conditioner! I used this for my leather car seats, boots and our dogs collar and leash. The wax is conveniently in a nice metal tin so you can easily get a little on a sponge or rag. I like to use a small tack sponge for leather conditioner since it holds the conditioner instead of absorbing it. When I used it on my car seats I first cleaned them with saddle soap. Just to get them clean enough to absorb the conditioner. If you choose to use this on something that you will be sitting on or wearing you need to give it enough time to absorb. At least over night for absorbency time. The wax absorbed nicely and applied in a smooth thin layer. I also used this on my dogs collar and leash with both are black. Again, after cleaning the leather I applied the wax and it again applied smooth and absorbed in the expected time. When using this on lighter leather such as brown or tan please expect that the color may change. This is true for all leather conditioner. The leather was supple, moisturized and protected after use. I've been using leather products for about 20+ years with my equestrian equipment and I can attest that this wax is one of the best!Great for all leather use! I bought this product to condition a leather satchel that I purchased almost a year ago. The leather is showing signs of wear. I'll be using it for business soon and wanted to improve the look of the bag.Conditioners generally change the color of the leather so this is no surprise. It darkens the leather a bit and makes it more supple. It protects against grime and dryness. It also protects against moisture, which is important since we finally have snow in Wisconsin this year.The container was easy to open and has enough of a spin to its closure that I feel it's securely closed and am not worried about it getting dirty.The fact that this product is made in the USA is a great bonus, too. The reason for purchasing this particular product was because it is made in the USA and I am a huge proponent of supporting American made products; secondly because it says all natural. I conditioned a pair of brand new $300 boots that were two toned distressed leather and it is no longer 'distressed'... Sadly it changed the color of my boots :( I don't recommend anyone do what I did... I was attempting to preserve the leather-as I do with all my leather boots and handbags- but now I have a pair of boots -functional- just not as attractive :(
