WELL CONSTRUCTED
Absolutely love these quick connect due to the 1 click action to connect/disconnect, however I'm somewhat concerned that they may not work for my saltwater application. I've observed what appear to be metal fitting inside this product which will definitely corrode causing contamination to my system. Choosing poorly is no reason to take away from a 5 star product though.

These items work absolutely great !!!! I use them on quarter inch swamp cooler lines!! I have never had a problem with them!!! And for the price you can not beat it!!!

Works well, with no leaks
These pieces work pretty well. As long as you install them rightly, they have no leaks whatsoever. That being said, you will want to be sure you do install them properly. Make sure you have the tubing cut to a flat, 90° angle. Whenever you push the tubing in, keep pushing til you feel something of a thunk. You may ever hear it if things are quiet. This is the end of the tubing going all the way in. You should also be careful about pushing in tubing that has tension. If the tubing comes in at an angle, namely with weight or tension, in will bend the teeth and make it impossible to remove the tubing after putting it in. It may very well not leak, but you'll have to cut the tubing should you want to remove it. Otherwise, it's a good product that does its job well.
