You need a very special case to use this at home. I believe it is better for gas pipe fixes if pipe is disassembled.
You must not use it where it can touch drinking water.I realized after putting it everywhere. You need to be careful as it can creep away if not just in the joints.So you need to apply it to join things but you cannot "cream" on top of something.
