Doe the smaller mug come with a lid/coaster?

Yes. I had to ream out the little vent hole in one to let the liquid come out better when you had the lid on.

What is the diameter of the bottom of this mug?

It is 2 1/2 inches at the bottom and 3 1/2 at the top and 6 3/8 high. Love my mug.
