Would this work for isopods and springtails or would they be able to get out of the ventilation holes?

I can confirm that not only can they get out the ventilation holes but newborn isopods can sneak out through the seams of the box where the sides come together.

If I put a heat lamp on this or heat pad under this material will it melt it?

How do you put that thermostat in and does it come with it if I get the 15.3” one?
