It looks real but it’s not sharply. Yes! I think it’s ok with 13 yes old .

are you supposed to clean this?

It was pretty clean when I got it but because the sheath is just wood you can get wood shavings on the sword. It’s not too bad but it’s something to keep an eye out for.

Can it be used for sparing?

No. This is not a full tang blade, and is very blade heavy. It is a collectible or cosplay item.
