Great kit. Good quality compressor.
This is the second one of these kits I have installed on one of my trucks. The first one is over 13 years old and is still working perfectly. This one went on a 2020 4 door Long Bed Chevrolet 2500HD LTZ for the air bags, air horn and onboard air supply. I used the ViAir bracket for the compressor and fabbed my own brackets from 1/8" x 1" flat bar for the 2.5 gallon tank. It was a tight fit length wise but worked out very well. I added a 1/2" bung to the air tank for the large air horn and found the tank steel wall nice and thick and easy to weld the new 1/2" npt bung to. This kit comes with a 450C compressor. I use the compressor heavily on both trucks and it does get hot when running continuously but both have worked great with no failures.

Truck air system.
I mounted this under my F350 so that it can turn on with the in-cab switch and easily plug the air hose into a fitting at the side of the truck. I have used this thing many more times than I can remember over the last 7 years. It has held up great and has been one of the more useful add-ons on my truck.

Great compressor, crappy pressure switch.
I've been using this compressor going on 7 years now, it has been reliable and still works like new with one exception.Despite the description saying it is IP 67 rated and can be mounted UNDER a vehicle, the pressure switch that comes with it IS NOT rated to get wet. There is in fact a warning on it about getting wet. Mine corroded internally and failed after a couple of years. If you are going to mount it under the vehicle, buy a water proof pressure switch, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Q3LXRI It should have been included in the first place, and is much smaller and more compact and most importantly, listed as water tight.

Triple 450 c
I Put a 10007 and dual 450c together to give me three 450c pumps to two 2.5 gal tanks. little over kill I know it's all up and works great takes about a minute to fill a 35" tire from 15psi to 35psi. So I should be done before others have finished with one. took extra plumbing and wiring but I got it done. 5gal 3 pumps 2:42 0-150 psi and able to run air tools

Plus I like to blast an air horn every once in a ...
This is the second of these systems I have bought. The other unit I let go when I sold the truck it was installed on. Chunk all of the included 1/4" MIPT fittings and go buy American made - the thread taper is correct. Also chase all of the tank 1/4" female tank bosses before you screw in any fittings. The pump will fill the reserve tank in about 7 minutes when its empty. I used 1/4" push on hose - no clamps required. Had some serious reservations about doing so, but, have no regretted it at all!! Absoultely no air leaks - not even a bubble during the soapy water test. Seal your American made fittings with teflon tape and get on with it. All other components of this kit are first rate stuff. Onboard air is a must for me and the remote places I go. Plus I like to blast an air horn every once in a while! Viair is overall the best system I've found - especially for the money spent.

Great Product
They actually give you everything you need. You might end up needing a few more brass fittings, I did but I went a different route. Rather than using this on a truck I installed this in my Jeep for airing up tires after the trail. Build quality of everything is great all around- I couldn't find anywhere that they skimped out.Get a good idea of where everything will go and make sure it will fit. Be sure that the air line won't get kinked because that's how you spring a leak. It might not be a bad idea to buy some extra hose, but they give you plenty. I used more than I needed and only went over by a few feet. They give you 6' of 3/8" hose for remote mounting the filter, but I mounted it next to my engine intake. I uses 1/4" tubing for this because the 6' of 3/8" wasn't long enough, so I think this is why it takes a bit longer to fill. The gage they give you is great, and they give it to you in a little sheet metal cutout with a switch. I mounted mine where it wouldn't be in the way- I'm sure if you're putting this in a truck you'll be able to keep the gage in the sheet metal mount they give you. They also give you an extra bulb. And 3 air filters. Wiring is also very easy, as long as the pressure switch gets its 12V power it'll turn itself on and off according to whatever pressure its' at.My only complaint is that they don't give you any way to mount the pressure switch. I used a giant cable tie, but I'll come up with something eventually. Definitely would recommend this product.

This compressor sure beats the portable compressors in a bag
I bought and installed this setup for my Toyota FJ Cruiser for when I air down for off-roading then air back up. Also for my camper trailer when we are on the road for several weeks and need to air up a tire or 2 a few lbs. the complete setup took about a day to install. I had to make a plate for the compressor to sit on under my hood and another frame for the tank to be installed behind the rear axle. I also had a local parts store fabricate an airline 12’ long to connect the compressor to the tank. The female quick coupler that came with this is junk. After about a month the coupler started to rust and was hard to connect. I installed the coupler in to my rear bumper. I have since replaced the coupler with a good quality quick connect coupler. I have times serving all 4 of my tires fro 15psi to 38 psi. From the time I turned on the compressor with zero psi in the tank to turning it off and draining the tank. Total time was 26 minutes. When I had my previous portable compressor in a bag it took this long just to service 1 tire. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great value on board air system!
This onboard air system is AMAZING! Fills my 33" BFG ATs in no time flat. I fill 2 tires at once and it maintains great pressure and performs quite well. Perfect for airing up on/off the trail.
