Catchmaster TRTD11386 72TC Glue Board Rodent and Insect Trap, Original Version

The Catchmaster is great for catching spiders. I have been using them in the garage and all my rooms corners and under the bed. I highly recommend using it.

I recently purchased the Catchmaster TRTD11386 72TC Glue Board Rodent and Insect Trap, and I must say, it has been a lifesaver when it comes to keeping my garage free from unwanted visitors like salamanders and spiders. This trap has exceeded my expectations and provided excellent results. One of the standout features of the Catchmaster TRTD11386 72TC Glue Board Trap is its ability to effectively catch and trap small pests. The sticky glue board provides a strong adhesive surface that prevents insects and rodents from escaping once they come into contact with it. I have noticed a significant reduction in the number of salamanders and spiders in my garage since I started using this trap. What I particularly like about this trap is its design and construction. I have a cave cricket problem in my basement. Put down Catchmaster glue strip, crickets caught. In fact I started with a tent, and the crickets were jamming themselves in! Caught 4 mice on one flat glue board in basement. (I don't like killing mice, just wish they would stay out of my basement). I had a problem with large black ants in kitchen. From past experience, I knew these ants wou1d NOT eat the Terro ant poison that worked with small ants. But the Catchmaster glue tent caught the big black ants! Highly recommended!

THEY WORK WELL. I PREFER TO USE THESE AS YOU CAN JUST THROW THE WHOLE THING AWAY INSTEAD OF EMPTYING A TRAP. I PUT IT UNDER A PIECE OF CARDBOARD AND SMASH THE RODENT SO IT DOES NOT SUFFER. KIND OF BRUTAL BUT LESS PAINFUL FOR THE RODENT. THEY NEED TO MAKE LARGER ONES FOR SPITTING COBRAS WHICH I HAVE CAUGHT 3 OF SO FAR HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES. ALSO...DO NOT PUT THEM WHERE YOUR PETS WILL COME ACROSS THEM. ONE OF THEM WAS STUCK TO THE SIDE OF ONE OF MY DOGS HEAD WITH A LIVE MOUSE STUCK ON IT! HE OBVIOUSLY DUG THE STICKY TRAP OUT FROM UNDER THE SOFA. VEGETABLE OIL CAN BE USED TO FREE AN UNWANTED ANIMAL SUCH AS A BIRD IF NECESSARY, JUST BE CAREFUL AND GENTLE.

So far I've only used it set up in the "tunnel" configuration and is really easy to set up. It seems really sticky, though I haven't put it up against really large mice/rats yet, smaller critters are caught without issue. I sort of wish there was an option I could find on amazon with the same dimensions, but no smell just for purposes of general pest monitoring, but otherwise this will remain my go-to option in terms of price, convenience, and effectiveness.

They will catch anything walking over them. Super sticky. Just be careful not to allow pets to touch it because it will stick and will be a pain to remove

These work well to catch most mice, there is the occasional escape artist but that one also gets caught eventually. If I find them stuck on the boards in the morning before they exhaust themselves trying to get free I can keep most of them alive and relocate them into the woods when I walk my dog first thing in the day. I put pieces of paper down around the mouse so that I don't get stuck to the board myself and then I use regular leather work gloves so I can't get bitten. Even the biggest mice haven't been able to bite through the leather gloves so far. Once I got rid of the roommate who kept leaving food laying around his room the mice stopped chewing new holes in my house and now this is no longer a problem and I now have a fisher cat living in my Woods (I caught about a hundred and fifty mice before I realized the cause of the problem and took care of it) which is one of the coolest Critters I've ever seen
