Update: they sent me a new book that did not have any issues…... I received the book and when you open it, the left side of the page is blank and the right contains half the content. It’s unusable/unreadable and upside down

Good Content, Bad Editing.
This book does an excellent job of condensing a lot of important material into an easy-to-read fashion. It also has many useful examples and exercises that increase the reader's ability to learn the material. However, the EDITOR for this book should be fired. There are consistently grammar, formatting and spelling mistakes throughout the entire book. These mistakes unnecessarily distract the reader from the quality of information within the text. More egregious are the mistakes in describing how certain Excel functions work or mistakes in examples that are provided. These mistakes cause the reader to be confused and have to do outside research.Overall, I would recommend buying this book due to the quality of content (which is also why I gave 4 stars and not lower), but the author of this book should at least take the time to re-read the work because currently these editing mistakes are just embarrassing.

Covered everything I needed to know!
I purchased this book to take one of the open-book certification exams with the Council of Six Sigma Certification (CSSC). The book made it a breeze! For anybody looking to save money, instead of getting this specific book they can just get one of these free self-study guides directly from their website. They have a different training guide broken-down for each belt level (Black Belt, Green Belt, Yellow Belt, White Belt, etc.) They are shorter ebooks, but still appear to have everything you would need to pass the open-book exams.Since I would rather have the full edition on my Kindle, spending a couple dollars more was easily worth it. That said, I did notice that the kindle version had a couple minor font issues (I don't think the Kindle can reproduce the sigma symbol). However, this really isn't a big deal considering that the Kindle version is practically free.I will probably also buy the paperback version since I prefer the feel of a physical text book (easier to flip from section to section). This is a very thorough book, highly recommended.

Starts in the middle
I bought this book a while ago for Six Sigma training. Since I am going for my MBA, I put this book off. Now I need the green belt portion of the book for a class. I was pretty excited to realize I had already purchased this book. However, I opened the book and realized that it starts on page 417. This book is missing over 400 pages and is now useless to me. My fault for not double checking this sooner. Just download the free book online.... money wasted.

THE BEST SIX SIGMA TRAINING AND REFERENCE GUIDE AVAILABLE...PERIOD!
As a 30 Year retired, US Navy Commissioned Officer, I wish I would have had this book while on Active Duty. If you’re motivated and seeking Six Sigma certification in White, Yellow, Green or Black Belt, SIX SIGMA, A complete Step-by-Step Guide is FOR YOU! This book/guide will provide you the tools necessary to gain certification, at any level, in SIX SIGMA. In my humble opinion, this is the BEST TRAINING GUIDE AND REFERENCE GUIDE AVAILABLE! Professionally written and extremely easy to understand. Most Definitely RECOMMENDED! Well Done!

Best reference at hand when you need to recap.
This is a well written book and it provides sufficiently deep examples to illustrate all the main concepts. The recurring structure of hypothesis tests is useful to reinforce the various methods and their strength (and limitations).A variety of sectors that benefit from the Lean Six Sigma approach are introduced and analysed to highlight benefits as well as challenges.Personally, this is the book I would recommend every LSS enthusiast, practitioner and expert to have at hand as a single introductory reference as well as one to read before taking the Green/Black Belt exam.

Contents out of order, not much useful
Don't buy this book. I returned it back to Amazon. The table of contents is all messed up. For example, it says advanced Minitab section and when you go to it, it contains chapters that have nothing to do with Minitab. Also, case studies are very narrow, feels like its been written by a high school student, not by a true professional.
