The absolute best frenchie approved toy
โ โ โ โ โ 5/5 Stars โ A Frenchie Favorite! I bought this flirt pole toy for my two French Bulldogs, Eleanor and Rigby, and it has been one of the best purchases Iโve made for them. Frenchies can be stubborn, energetic little potatoes, and this toy keeps them engaged, active, and mentally stimulated. The pole is sturdy and comfortable to hold, the rope has held up well against enthusiastic tugging, and the fleece lure is irresistible to them. Within minutes they were chasing, jumping, spinning, and having the time of their lives. Itโs a fantastic way to burn off energy, especially on days when a long walk isnโt possible. I also love that I can control the pace of play, making it safer than roughhousing while still giving them a great workout. After 15โ20 minutes with this toy, both dogs are happily exhausted and ready for a nap. If you have French Bulldogs or other high-energy dogs, this flirt pole is absolutely worth it. Durable, fun, and a great bonding activity. I would buy it again without hesitation! Pros: โ Durable construction โ Excellent exercise for Frenchies โ Encourages natural chase instincts โ Easy to use โ Great value for the price Frenchie-approved by Eleanor & Rigby ๐พ๐พ โค๏ธ

Durable and enjoyable
My dog loves this toy! The pole is easy to assemble, just screw the two halves together and then attach the rope. The toy at the end is durable and lasted through months of play, even tugging and chewing. The handle has an ergonomic grip for both right- and left-handed use. The main rope has plastic casings protecting the areas that are stitched together. Unfortunately, if your dog gets hold of them, they won't hold up. However, the stitching on the rope is very strong and I have not had to replace it.

Cool, colorful, looks like braided rags, but habdles the tug if war with
This rascal was a hit as soon as it was unwrapped! Has been our dog's favorite I interactive with Dad toy. Not so far affected by tugging and minimally by chewing after near daily play for several weeks. The tail itself is defenseless against chewing, but holds up for the tugging. We don't leave it on the floor for chewing. It's long enough to handle up to help your dogs fun last.

Dog's favorite toy - good but could use some improvements
Well this is what the toy looks like after 18 days of playing with a 3 month old Belgian Malinois mix puppy who weighs about 30 lbs. This is his favorite toy! I just run it along the ground in front of him so he can chase it. He plays tug o war as well. It's pretty beat up after about 3 weeks of usage - maybe 15-30 minutes a day. The pole and rope *(see more below) is very strong. I don't care for the ergonomic part of the grip and find myself never aligning my fingers in it so I just hold below it. As others have mentioned the middle of the pole can come loose while playing but it hasn't been annoying enough for me to put locktite on it, I just tighten it every few minutes by hand. It would be better to have saved money on design and used a normal grip and add another replacement fleece rope to the package instead. It's kind of heavy too but I guess that's what makes it strong - it bends like a fishing pole when he pulls on it sometimes but only about an inch or so of curvature, it doesn't feel like it would break. The fleece rope toy portion isn't too delicate but once it starts to lose it's form it unravels quickly which is why I think the kit should include 2 for the cost. Replacements are available for a reasonable price (2 for $12.99) and I've ordered a few spares. I'm a little concerned about the rope loop that appears to be stitched together and then covered with a plastic shrink wrap of sorts. The plastic on mine has started to become shredded and will likely come off soon. It's hard to see from the angle that the rope is facing in the pic I took but you can see where the plastic is damaged and it's way worse on the other side of the rope where it only has about 50% coverage remaining. It looks like the stitching is pretty good though so hopefully the plastic isn't the main structural component of the rope loop. Decided to add a pic of the rope loop damage and stitching for reference. If your dog doesn't play fetch or even if they do I still recommend this toy.

Great Quality
This is very heavy duty (handle and rope). My dogs like it. One took a little more time to warm up to it. This keeps your hands further away from the dogs mouth for play, which is nice if you have an energetic dog that has no boundaries. The toy at the end will need to be replaced. How often will depend on how much your dog likes to tug (or how much you allow them to tug). Mine like to tug and chew a bit as we play, so I already bought replacements. My dogs are 85 & 75lbs. The handle does come unscrewed as you play. Directions say to use locktite to avoid - I haven't done that yet. I just keep an eye on it while playing currently.

It wears your puppy out!
This is a great toy. A friend of mine, who is also a dog obedience trainer, suggested I try this. My new puppy likes to bite a lot and has a ton of energy. So several times a day, we go outside & play. You can just stand in one place & swing the toy around while your puppy runs after it or drag it around. Your puppy will constantly be biting the fleece toy at the end and also expend a lot of energy. A win, win situation!

Durable but comes apart
Great toy, dogs loved it and the pole and tassel lasted with even larger breeds and rough play. Only downside is the pole comes apart since it screws together and while playing multiple times itโs come detached
