Great Value
Keep in mind the price point this scope is at. The overall construction of the scope is pretty solid. The materials used in this product are not cheap in appearance or feel. I especially like that the turret covers are metal instead of cheap plastic. There are rubber gaskets at the base of the turrets for water resistance. Nice touch. The turret adjustments have great tactile feedback and can easily be adjusted with your fingers, knife or coin. Excellent job there. The one drawback is the profile of the turret is fairly significant. Not a major thing. The scope rings provided are okay given what you pay for the scope. The muzzle side scope ring doesn't mate correctly and is crooked. Other than appearance this doesn't seem to affect performance of the scope rings. Scope mounting seems to be rock solid. My only complaint is the mounting screws on the side locking the scope to the dovetail have a significant profile. The forward screw interferes with the actuation of the action (auto .22). With a bolt action it is probably fine. It would be nice it the lock down screws were lower profile.Reticle focusing is okay. It's not super sharp but for what you pay and for my use (plinking) it's sufficient. Optical quality (focus & clarity) is excellent for the price point. Once sited in I was able to get a quarter-sized group @ 30yds. The light transmission capability exceeded my expectations. It's not excellent but pretty darn good for the price point. The 32mm objective lens is great especially for inexperienced shooters improving target acquisition speed.Overall this is a great value. You get a pretty good optic that won't break the bank. I highly recommend this product especially for recreational/plinking, small game hunting uses. I would not recommend for competitive or big game use.

cheap scope for cheap duty
Ordered it because it was cheap, came with mounting rings, and was only going to see the recoil of a pump-pellet gun. Unfortunately I did not read closely enough to realize it comes with dovetail mounts. They don't fit the weaver/picatinny rail on the top of my AR-esque pellet gun. Not a big deal, new rings are easy enough to find.Overall impression taking it out of the package...1.) The company knows it's not a fancy, high-end optic. They ship it in a plastic package, just like a cheap child's toy. No box, no foam cradling it against impacts that might hurt the lenses or reticle.2.) The focus ring on the back seems nearly useless. Several turns and no noticeable difference in the focus of the reticle. Keep in mind this is for the reticle and not the objective. It's a fixed focus/zoom scope.3.) Even without being able to really dial in focus on the reticle it appears rather clear and easy to see/use.4.) The MOA adjustments are 1/4 per click at 100yds. Clicks are very positive and audible. They aren't a true target turret, but they are hand adjustable under the covers. Nice to NOT need a tool or coin to make adjustments.I'll try to add to the review once I get proper rings, mount it, and attempt to zero it. So far I expect it'll work just fine for keeping rodents out of the gardens.Update:I've now had this on my anti-rodent device for a couple summers. I'm very happy with it. Obviously an air rifle doesn't have enough recoil to knock things out of alignment so there is no concern for the quality and longevity. I can say that making adjustments to zero in the scope were easy. It seems to be holding its zero as the air rifle is picked up, pumped, fired, set back down, and occasionally falling over.I've zeroed the scope / rifle for the 20 yards between by back door and the edge of the lawn / woods. 90% of the time the rodents become dinner for the neighbor's cat on the first shot. Occasionally I miss, but I chalk that up to the bore of the cheap air rifle and not the scope.

Nice for the price
Got a deal on a Remington Mod 5 .22, mfg by Zastava in Serbia, (nice honest gun, by the way).I didn't want to spend the money for a Leupold, and I have a Barska spotting scope, which hasdecent optics. Sooo, I'm looking at this 4 power for [...] bucks, with the mounting rings thrown in,(I paid that for the mount rings alone for my last scope), and figure "why not?". A 22 isn't goingto be too hard on it.End result? I've had it out 4 times for an extended periods, with good results. Hitting golf balls consistently at 100 yds (3 out of five, which is as good as I shoot) The scope holds it's adjustments well, I havn't had to change them since zeroing in. It has a nice clear sight picture.I've always been suspicious of low end optics, but this one is a winner. Don't know how well ittakes abuse, but so far I quite happy with it. Would have paid twice as much. Mounting rings are alittle clunky, but that's a minor quibble.
