I bought a leather-bound journal and wanted a pen/pencil case that would match. This pen case not only matches but holds a lot of my pens and pencils that I use. Once I put my pencils or pens inside of this case, they not only don’t fall out, but the tips are protected as well. The strap on this is fully adjustable. Inside, the strap is what holds my pens and pencils. If I want it to hold 2 or 3 at a time, all I have to do is pull the strap and put them inside. To tighten them to keep them from moving, I just pull the other side of the strap and it will tighten the strap and keep my pens and pencils from sliding out. Once I roll it up, I just tuck the leather strap under the outer holder, and this does not come loose, ever. What I love about this case is I’m able to keep as little or more pens and pencils in this case and never have to worry about them coming out. This case fits in my backpack and no matter how much this case moves around, it never comes loose or open up on its own. I was even able to put my graphite pencils and some colored pencils in these and take them to go draw. I love being able to set up my table and roll these out. The case does lay pretty flat but even with a breeze, this case stays on my table since it’s not too light to be blown away. Not to mention, after heavily using this case, after almost 3 weeks, none of the stitches are coming loose and this still looks somewhat new.

The roll is attractive, sturdy, and well-made. It protects and organizes my fountain pen collection while making it portable. I’m very pleased with this product.
