All of us (4 family members) were simply swarming with lice. I'd never had lice before - the discomfort is extraordinary. This product comes with two bottles and you need a full bottle per person. For some reason that info isn't on the box, but there you go. So we got two packs. After the first application the dead lice were dropping off us in a fine sprinkle all over the damn towels. Gross. But it does work. Using the nit comb THOROUGHLY is strong recommended. I must have pulled a tablespoon of dead or dying lice off each of our heads. But some were left alive and two days later we were all still savagely itchy. The infestation was bad and the label says this product kills the majority of eggs, but not all. So it was probably the newly hatched eggs beginning to feed. 4 days after first application we had to treat again. Combed out maybe 1/8 tsp of dead lice off each of us this time. That's still plenty. ALWAYS treat again to kill remaining eggs when you use permethrin. We followed up with yet a third application 4 days after the second. Combed out not much of anything the last time. Be realistic. Lice are not easy to kill. A triple treatment worked for us - make sure you are persistent. A good product when used properly. Poor results if you don't follow properly the instructions on the box.

Don't waste your money on tea tree oil and other herbal remedies that simply do not kill the eggs. As many products will kill the lice but do not kill the egg. Once the egg hatches again the cycle is repeated. I have grandchildren in elementary school to get lice from other kids at the school. We've tried all the herbal remedies and tea tree oils that simply just leave you right back to having to retreat. It makes for a very upset child and the sanity of the adults just withers away. This product is a must have if you have children. And the scent has improved so it leaves a nice fresh scent. It also has the rinse that makes it easier to calm your hair. This kills the lice and the egg and solves the problem. Make sure you follow the directions exactly as it says by doing a second treatment days later so you can rest assured that your bug problem is completely gone. I highly recommend this product because of experience with it when my children were young. They're in their 40s now and now that I have grandchildren, it works on them as well. I'm not wasting my time on things like tea tree oil. I nip it in the bud and get it done in one shot. I have three sons and 17 grandchildren and have never had a problem with this product. It works!

I Got Rid of them !! Let’s talk about it. So my daughters got it from her cousin , on Thursday we started the process and this is how I did it. Step (1) I put this product followed the directions (since my daughter has curly full hair, I left it on for extra five minutes ) rinsed it out. Step (2 )I sprayed her hair with white vinegar and apple cider vinegar(this helps the glue of the egg to loosen up ) ( let it sit for 5 minutes) then I mixed warm mayonnaise, coconut oil, and olive oil ( this helps it too suffocate any lice and it also softens & conditions the hair since you put all that chemicals from step (1) Step (3) I cover hair with a disposable shower cap let it sit in hair 4 to 6 hours. Step (4) rinse everything out (we used Head and shoulders) but you can use any of your choosing. Step (5) blow dry hair for 10 to 15 minutes to fry Any eggs. Step (6) flat iron Step (7) I made my own repellent spray with water, tea tree, oil, and rosemary & mint oil (by difeel) I sprayed this on for the last step. The Lice cannot stand the essential oil. (My oldest daughter was clean of everything by Wednesday) And for my three year old I did not use the Nix because I felt like it would be too strong for her. So I just used all the natural ingredients above, and I noticed that the eggs were dried up (due to the white and apple cider vinegar ) and by Tuesday she was good. But I will still be checking Repeat as much as needed Hope this helps.

Don't work as well as before.not as effective

This product really works. You just need to use it correctly and remove every single nit. If you leave few nits it will be back. Use it on every member of your family and repeat 7-10 days later. Don’t split the bottle to more than once person unless they have almost no hair. Brush for nits and repeat brushing for at least 3 days. Than 3 days after second treatment I used blow dryer on medium, on wet hair for 30 minutes on everyone. It should get rid of any remaining lice and dry nits if anything is left. Obviously you need to wash, and dry bedding on hot then sanitize brushes, and hair accessories. Also if you have a child with long hair you may need more than one bottle. You also will need better (metal) comb than plastic one included here. we had lice problem for weeks. I tried first over the counter lice treatments that advertise pesticide free. Many advertised they kill lice and nits. I always did 2 treatments 7-10 days apart washed and dried in hot bedding, towels, pillows and even sofa cushions. I collected hair accessories and brushes and sanitized for 24-48 hours. And the lice were back with vengeance. I was so frustrated I didn’t know what I was doing wrong, I bought new pillows, new hair brushes. Later used product for super lice. Then I learned that almost none of chemical treatments kills nits (even if they say they do). So if you leave just two of them then the lice will be back. I found some videos on YouTube about Head Lice Removal Combing Techniques. I purchased better lice comb, and this product with permethrin and we are lice free. I wish I would start with this one I would save a lot of money and time.

My son came home with headlights and I can honestly say I bought five different products because I was not playing games out of all the products I got this one was the most effective. Nothing is 100% you have to redo it every other week for about a month or two and sterilize everything in your house wash all the materials, sheets, bedding, towels, clothing I washed everything I tried the different products. This product was absolutely most effective out of the five that I tried and I Bought multiple products if he ever came home with head lice again I would just buy two or three boxes of this and sterilize the house cause I already know this works. I just have to redo it every other week for a month or two if you don’t sterilize everything in your house, it doesn’t matter what you buy for your kids here it’s not gonna work this worked out for us.
