Where Have You Been All of My Life?!
Let me start by giving some background on my hair. I'm Caucasian and have thick (and I mean THICK) hair that is coarse and dry. I have color treated my hair for over 10 years, plus blow dry and heat style it a few times a week. For those of you with hair like this, you know what it means: TANGLES! After washing my hair, waking up in the morning or even just not doing anything, my hair is prone to massive tangles. I have used every method available: different brushes, different combs, different conditions, wet, dry, using my fingers, spraying in conditioning treatments and tangle sprays. It never fails: on a good day, I spend 10 to 15 minutes detangling my hair (which reaches a few inches past my shoulder) and on a bad day...well, let's just say I'm usually saying some bad words and my arms hurt. When I saw this product on a deal site, I thought, "Why not?!" I mean, 7 bucks is cheaper than a high quality brush and all of the treatments I was purchasing, so no big deal if it didn't work. After reading the reviews, I saw that the majority were VERY good, but my first thought was, "These people don't have massive tangles like I do...tangles that take forever to get out and leave you with a brush full of broken hair. No way." Well, I don't know if they have tangles like I do, but I'm here to say that this product WORKS. I was still a bit skeptical when it arrived at my door, and since I had just woken up, I had a huge nest built up at the back of my head. For those of you who suffer from massive tangles, you know what I'm talking about. So I plugged it in, read over the instructions, pulled my hair back and started working on small sections at a time. WOW! Imagine my amazement as this Tangle Tamer went right through my hair. "Okay," I thought. "You can handle the little tangles, but let's see you work on these ones in the back." Holy cow! I about passed out when it glided right through. I slowly pulled the comb through each section and it was like MAGIC! I sound like I am being over the top, but I swear, that's what it was like. Tangles? What Tangles? seems to be the motto of this incredible device. I literally detangled my entire head in under five minutes. I then went through my hair with a regular comb and it just slid through, no problem. This thing WORKS. I don't really understand how, but it does. It is AMAZING. The only complaint I have is that I didn't discover it sooner. This isn't the fault of the Tangle Tamer, of course, but my own. I guess I was spending so many hours using other methods, I didn't think to try this out before. I wish I could meet the inventor of this so I could thank him for changing my life, and no, I am not even exaggerating. Detangling my hair is an everyday task that I have always faced with dread. With this, it's no longer painful, damaging or a pain the rear to comb out my hair. Seriously, if you struggle with tangles, BUY THIS NOW. No matter how bad they are, this does the job. I know I'm definitely impressed!

Absolute Hair-Saving Miracle
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars — Absolute Hair-Saving Miracle I don’t usually write reviews, but the Remington Tame the Mane deserves a full-on standing ovation. After a perfect storm of static electricity, playground chaos, and a very enthusiastic round on a trampoline, my daughter ended up with a serious matted layer of knots at the nape of her neck behind her ear — right in the most delicate, impossible spot. Her hair is long and beautiful, and we were absolutely determined not to cut it. For a week and a half, we tried everything. Conditioners. Detangling sprays. Oils. Wide-tooth combs. Fingers. Patience. Tears (mostly mine). NOTHING could penetrate the mat or even make a dent. It felt completely hopeless. Then the Remington Tame the Mane finally arrived. I am not exaggerating when I say this tool did what nothing else could. Within a single day of careful use, the knot that had defeated us for nearly two weeks was completely gone. Gone. No haircut. No trauma. No damage to her hair. What impressed me most: • It actually worked through the mat instead of pulling against it • Gentle enough for a child’s sensitive scalp • Saved her length and her confidence • Turned a stressful situation into total relief If you are dealing with severe tangles, mats, or knots you think are beyond saving - don’t give up and don’t reach for the scissors yet. This tool genuinely rescued my daughter’s hair when nothing else could. Hair saved. Tears avoided. Mom forever grateful. 💛 Highly, highly recommend.

Works, but go slow.
I saw this detangler in a product testing video, and figured I would give it a try. I have long curly hair that I can only comb when it's wet and has conditioner in it. So basically, my hair only gets combed out while I'm in the shower. But sometimes the tangles take forever to work through with my comb. Well this little thing worked better than I expected! It's a little clunky, and I'm afraid my tangles might break one of the detanglers at some point, but it works fairy well. The key is to still start near the bottom ends and work your way up. With my comb, I could usually start at about 4 inches from the bottom, and that would take several strokes to clear the tangles before I could move up. Then several strokes more before moving higher or going to another section. You'll still need to work in small sections, but instead of 7-8 strokes, I cold usually do each small section in 2 slow passes. If my hair isn't very tangled, it wold be faster for me to use my comb. But when I've let it go a few days, this little machine actually saves me a few minutes and my arms don't get so tired. 4 out of 5 stars because my hair doesn't do anything when it's dry - I have to use it on wet hair with conditioner. (Admittedly, I haven't actually tried it on dry hair. I just know how my hair reacts to things when dry, and that's not a risk I'm willing to take.) But the product is NOT waterproof and it actually states not to use it in the shower. So I lay it in a cabinet next to the shower and when I'm ready for it, I turn the water off, detangle my hair, then put it away and turn the water back on. But since it's not waterproof, rinsing the conditioner off has to be done very carefully.

For children and adults alike! AMAZING product.
Before this product: My hair would get tangled very easily and end up in mats/knots that seemed nearly impossible to remove. These knots were balled up tightly in a knot as big as my fist sometimes, just from showering alone or from sleeping and rolling over a lot. I have very thick hair. I am Caucasian and still have this problem. I saw that it worked on African-American hair, their hair can be thick and coarse, as mine is at times, so I wanted to try it on my own hair. It would have been impossible to brush my hair wet, dry, with or without oils/conditioners because of the severity of the tangles this time. If there was a possibility of it being brushed out somehow, it would have taken hours and hours, my hair is extremely long. Dead ends are a nightmare to manage after a long, long time of not having them treated. Dealing with my hair was a living nightmare that took part of me away. I would often wear hooded clothing to try to conceal my hair because it would get knotted up so much that I couldn't always brush it out no matter what I did. After this product: Wow, I am amazed and I am able to say that this item really is something of a miracle worker. I was extremely skeptical of it actually working. I had this item overnighted to me because I just had to see if it was actually going to work or not, I was extremely desperate to find an answer to my extremely thick and knotted hair. This was the perfect solution. This managed my entire head of knotted hair within thirty minutes. My hair was completely tangle-free after using it! After using it, I had all dead ends cut off from my hair. I now use this product every morning and every night to prevent the bad tangles and knots from happening again. I'm so happy to have found this item! It truly does do the impossible. You just very slowly move the comb down your hair while it's turned on and it will gently and gradually shake the tangles away. Its vibration and twisting seems to do the trick. If you get stuck somewhere, just use a comb or brush and try to brush it out the best you can, then go back to using this little device to try to get out what the comb or brush could not. I see that they have recommended this for children with my problem, but please don't let that scare you from buying this product if you are an adult. I am nineteen years old and I enjoyed using it. Overall, I think that this product is truly a life saver for the life of my hair and my social life. I feel so much better now that my hair is under control. I really loved this product and I think you will, too, if you have hair like mine or have a child with unruly hair. - seruki.com ~ Liz

Very Loud "Meh"
I have Curly/Kinky hair that is transitioning to natural. My hair is thin but highly dense. The true length of my hair is 20 inches total. Of those, 6" are natural, the rest is relaxed. I don't find it difficult to detangle as is, it is just very time consuming. I was in the market for something to reduce the time I spend at it and found this here on amazon. This comb does what it says it does: It glides through the hair and it's easy to use. The problem is that it is too slow, specially in long hair and it often snags your hair without you noticing. If you use a regular comb you can feel the snags as you move along and be more careful, but with this you really can't unless it's a big knot. If only it could cover a larger amount of hair then this would be a higher rated product from my end, but since it can only cover a small amount at a time with since it's small comb, it's a waste of time. Pro: Fast delivery. Great value. Works as described. Lasting Battery. Comes with a dock to make it stand upright Cute design Cordless Con: Very slow. The comb is SO SMALL, covers very little hair at a time. It is also very loud. Though it is just a comb, it is very indiscreet. You do not want to be in a bathroom in a shared house for a long time with something so loud. Overall: Not for little girls or women with massive amounts of hair like me. I have had better results with a big shower comb in a shorter amount of time. Though it works for some, this product was clearly not designed for big curly hair. With that in mind, it would be unreasonable to hold this too hard against Remington, since it is not aimed for this consumer market. However, this review might be helpful for someone with similar hair texture who is also transitioning and looking to purchase this. I will revisit this product again when my hair is fully natural so I can offer a more comprehensive review, but for now it's just "meh".

All I have to say is…WOW!!! NOT just for KIDS!!!
Let me start by saying generally I am not a person who goes out of the way to write reviews .. however, this product DESERVES the time it takes… & I am very HAPPY with my purchase! PRODUCT: REMINGTON DT7432 Wet or Dry Tame The Mane Electric Detangling Brush with Brush Cover ABOUT ME: I am a 45 year old woman & have natural BLONDE ‘straightish’ LONG (mid back) hair that TANGLES very easily: mostly the back of my DRY ‘up in a twist bun’ head on pillow overnight &/or my WET in shower/after shower hair . PAST EXPERIENCE with DETANGLING BRUSHES: I came across the REMINGTON DT7432 Wet or Dry Tame The Mane Electric Detangling Brush with Brush Cover while looking for a favorite DETANGLING BRUSH of mine that had cracked/broke… the HEY BEAUTY Magic Detangling Brush… “Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.” All other brushes like the HEY BEAUTY MAGIC Brush are one or mor of the following : (in my opinion) too small, weird shape, cheaply made, hard & painful, have those little round balls that pop off the end of the bristles. The closest I found is the TANGLE TEEZER Wet Brush HOWEVER, it is still SMALL & EXPENSIVE in comparison to HEY BEAUTY MAGIC Brush. REVIEW: REMINGTON DT7432 Wet or Dry Tame The Mane Electric Detangling Brush with Brush Cover The REVIEWS from mothers is what really ‘sold me’.. having natural BLONDE hair is a lot like having child-like hair (fine wispy pieces that TANGLE easily).. so I went for it. With the support of the REVIEWS I thought “of course its going to work.. “ but Seriously, SHOCKED on just HOW well this thing truly works. I LOVE IT! It works EQUALLY as well on my WET or DRY hair … working its way through with minimal pain to NO PAIN at ALL! WET HAIR: I use it in conjunction with a DEEP CONDITIONER or HAIR MASK to COMB through my WET hair with PRODUCT & follow-up with a DETANGLE BRUSH to ensure all my strands are covered in treatment. DRY HAIR: I use it pre-shower to get out any ‘snarly bed head’. I have a ‘HAPPY STUNNED SMILE’ every time I use it bc of how easy it works its way through my hair. PRICE: $ Worth the money spent… * Don’t be fooled thinking a COMB isn’t going to be able to do what a brush can do.. ~This comb virtually does the work for you. Less hair being ‘ripped out’ compared to other traditional brushes. ~ It takes 2 AA batteries (INCLUDED in the packaging) .. No need to PLUG IN one more added DEVICE into the BATHROOM SOCKET! CONS: (Honestly I could of SKIPPED this section… bc they aren’t ‘true cons’ of the OVERALL PRODUCT) ~ Carrying case NOT included I purchased the ONLY one I saw available on AMAZON for $12.99 ~ MORE Colors needed … as an ADULT I would prefer BLACK or something NEUTRAL

Miraculous!!!
I have 3 girls. This was delivered yesterday, and as of today, all their hair is tangle free. I am so happy I could cry!!! Two of the girls have thick hair. Theirs was fairly easy to detangle. The 8 year old with straight, thick, not very tangled hair I did mostly dry, using detangling spray, and she said it hurt just a little bit the first time I did it (getting the inital tangles out). Since then she keeps wanting me to comb her hair repeatedly with this cause it feels nice! (I've used it on her like 7 times in two days at her request!) The 4 year old tends to get food in her hair - blech! So she got a bath, and I used this on her in the bath with shampoo on. Her hair is waist length, thick, and a bit wavy. No difficulty at all, and she never said it hurt. And she HATES even having her hair brushed, so I couldn't believe she even let me do all of her hair with this! My most difficult case was my other 8 year old girl with fine, curly hair. She had horrible mats. She was not very cooperative when I tried to get the mats out with just the detangling spray and this. I made a bit of progress that way. Round two was in the bath with conditioner on. Much more progress. Round 3 was the finishing touch, totally dry combing with just this. Just stunned. No mats. Gloriously silky hair. I feel like I just won a 4 year battle. I have been fighting mats since we grew her hair out, because people kept mistaking her for a boy when she had short hair. Her hair has never looked this good before. It did take 3 tries (cause she has very little patience!), and the machine stalled at some of the thicker mats on the first pass. But in the end it was sucessful, and I am so, so happy, because I was about to give up and cut off all her hair again. :/ I also used it on my short hair. Because it felt nice. ;) Note: some of the reviews seemed to refer to an older, pink model with a stand. I was sent the newer purple model. It has no stand, but does come with a cover. Additionally the purple model uses 2 AA batteries, instead of plugging in. Someone mentioned their gadget didn't come with a cover. However, the cardboard insert in the box is sort of wedge shaped. If you open the top of the cardboard wedge, you will find the charger and a set of batteries. This not very obvious. I almost threw my box away before I thouht to look for the cover.

Amazing Brush for Knotty Hair on a Sensitive Scalp
Received our Tame the Mane brush just an hour ago, tried it and had to immediately jump on to review. My 11 year old has very thick hair that’s an Irish curl style texture (2C and 3B shaped curls in what we lovingly call her “wooly sheep undercoat” and copious amounts of straight and wavy hair on top) and has an exceedingly sensitive scalp. Those different textures easily form knots and when not brushed properly become whole matted locs. Brushing her hair from day one has always been a painful struggle, no matter the products, conditioner, serums and styling tools. We pulled the brush out of the package, inserted the batteries and dove right in to brushing out her dry hair that still had some knots she hadn’t gotten after her shower last night and it cut through them like butter. There were a few tiny knots close to her scalp that caused some pulling, but overall, the experience of untangling her hair was significantly more pleasant and easier than it’s ever been. My 11 year old gave it 2 thumbs up both for the experience and for how easy it was for her to use as well. Well worth the money!!

Love it and am trying to get another one.
I bought this a couple of years ago and as I have long, highlighted hair it’s been a fab tool that’s helped with detangling my hair when wet. I love it and have already bought a second for one of my friends but am struggling to find a third one for another friend who has similar hair to me, I have no doubt she’d love it too.

Excellent product. It’s saving 70% of time we were wasting while making hair.

Does the job
It’s easy to use and preferable to dragging a comb or brush through tangled hair but it’s not brilliant on tight tangles. Has it changed my life? No but I like using it and it works well on my synthetic wigs.

Works very well
