It is a sturdy and beautiful knife
The knife is what they claim it to be. The inside of the finger hole is not polished, so the layering is obvious if you look closely in there. I am happy that the ornamental part of the sheath just snaps on and can be removed. I prefer the simple look. The handle is on the small side. My hands are not large (I wear around a size 9 glove) and my fingers feel a little bit scrunched when holding it, especially when I am holding it in a standard grip with my little finger through the hole. That being said, it is more comfortable when I have my index finger through the hole in a traditional silat karambit grip. It works well for both a right-handed or left-handed grip. The only thing that would make it more comfortable would be if the metal around the finger hole and the finger hole itself were beveled. The square edge feels a little sharp when you press against it.

Real Damascus, comes sharp out of the box
I bought 2 of these knives, on for me and another for a friend. I didn't even need to compare the two to figure out that is was actually Damascus. One thing that I didn't really love was the two dark spots on the knives, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. I thought that I would have a problem with the sheath due to the fact that it was I guess "backwards" in a way, but I actually found it more convenient the way it was made. After I bought it I brought it to work to show my partner when I realized I had forgotten my boxcutter at home. I decided so say screw it and use this knife instead. All day I was cutting Weatherproof paper for exterior waterproofing for siding. I cut through the paper cleanly and held an edge all day. Keep in mind that this paper is more like a fabric than a paper really, and I was very surprised at how closely it was to competing with a utility blade boxcutter. Though I don't really recommend this knife over a boxcutter, mostly because it's not as small and civilians would probably be terrified of you, it definitely is a good edc.

Amazing product and SHARP
Likes: Amazing quality. Sturdy, sharp and beautiful. Detachable decoration (I had to hide it from the cat). Now I need to get a plastic one so I don't cut myself learning how to twirl it, because this would slice my palm off. Fits on my belt. Clips in. Even has a throat punch option if you're not looking to actually stab someone! 10/10 would recommend.

Knife looks amazing, minor damage to the button
Knife looks great, looks like off the bat itโs built with quality in mind, weight is comfortable, button casing the blade came rusted and broken but the blade is what matters

Great looking steel! Left-handed sheath.
First of all, the knife looks great, truly. It fits the hand well and the finger ring is comfortable. The sheath is good quality, looks great and smells delightful. When you hold a karambit your index finger goes through the ring and the blade extends down from the bottom of the hand. I did not notice from the pictures that the sheath this knife comes with does not facilitate a proper right hand draw. The sheath is for lefties. This is all well and good if its just going on a shelf (or if you are left handed) but if you intend to use this as some type of EDC or Silat and you are a righty the sheath is incorrect. There might be an option to fix this when ordering but I don't see it. Edit: My bad. Apparently this is the way this particular karambit is designed. My review should say: "Please read product description thoroughly before ordering things off of Amazon."

Excellent blade, sheath not my cuppa tea.
This is one of the better karambits I've used, lightweight, good curve, hilt very comfortable and above all has great edge retention. No issues at all with the craftsmanship of the blade. My only 'complaint' is that the sheath is not compatible to my preferred wear; I carry right handed and this sheath reverses the wear, meaning you have to draw and then rotate the blade to seat in your hand... not remotely useful for anything but left-hand carry. In the end I wound up making my own sheath to allow proper position carry so, not a deal breaker as I love the blade, but be aware of this small issue if you are purchasing.

Pretty but poor quality
A very pretty knife, but sharp as butter knife out of the box. I sharpened the blade but I can't do much with the poor quality holster. At least it was relatively cheap.

Awesome craftsmanship!!
Finally received my Desert Fox Karambit in the mail today. The Damascus steel is beautiful and I also love the mosaic pin in the handle. The knife is very sharp and durable. I have very large hands and this knife is very comfortable to hold. I have another karambit but it a mass produced blade and small in my hand.
