I’ve been using the Salicylic Egg daily for both my face and body. The salicylic acid is great for clearing pores and managing acne. It also contains coconut oil, which provides moisture without leaving a greasy residue, making my skin feel soft and hydrated. The soap lathers well and has a pleasant, mild scent that isn’t overpowering. It rinses off easily without leaving any residue, which is great for those with sensitive skin. Additionally, the soap’s natural ingredients give me peace of mind, knowing that I’m not exposing my skin to harsh chemicals. One unique aspect of this soap is its greeny color, which likely comes from the natural ingredients and botanical extracts used in its formulation.

I always check reviews, but have to admit i was sceptical. As the Egg was within a price range I was willing to take a risk on I thought, worth a go! So glad I did. It smell lovely and lathers up beautifully. Although I haven't been using I haven't been using it long, I have already noticed an improvement in my skin tone. This is a bit on the personal side but I'm willing to share! I have some spotty patches that make the bikini season leaving me a bit self conscious - thongs are not for me as I wouldn't wish that view on anyone! But, I have already noticed a reduction in redness and my skin is improving. I am moving from sceptical to optimistic and will definitely be buying more. If you've looked at more expensive options, I'd definitely say give this a go first. Your pocket will be as grateful as your skin!

Having suffered with body acne since my early teens I regularly use salicylic or glycolic products - and when I saw this soap on offer I thought I’d give it a try and bought both the salicylic and the glycolic ones. I tried the green salicylic one first and absolutely loved it - best salicylic soap I’ve tried and noticed a marked difference in my skin straight away, plus it lasted for aaages (the Carbon Theory one I’d previously been using only lasted just over a week). Then I tried the pink glycolic one - and I have to say I’m seriously annoyed. My skin hasn’t been anywhere this healthy since before I hit puberty. Only thing is: it smells like Granny soap. I think it’s got rose oil in it or something, and I absolutely hate it. I can’t even walk upstairs without the scent wafting from the bathroom (I’ve probably over sensitive to it because I live with my mum and she doesn’t notice it). It’s absolutely Sod’s Law that I’d eventually find a product that works but the smell puts me off! Obviously scent boils down to a personal preference and may not bother other people. Would I buy it again? Definitely - but I won’t be happy about it!

I have only been using this for a week now hence the 4 star review, but so far it has worked great! I was having a breakout at the time of purchase and this calmed my skin down a lot, the only downfall is I think rubbing the product directly on your face hurts a little when your skin is breaking out but there is other ways to use it. My skin is very sensitive so I can confirm this won't irritate your skin, however it does make it quite dry after use which is fine for me cause my skin clears up best this way, just make sure you use a good moisturiser afterwards. Definitely good value for money, also unique compared to others on the market due to its style. Would recommend so far :)

I'm a little late to the salicylic acid party and have been using the Inkey List cleanser for a while. It's fine, but this is much better. This soap works up into a lovely, fine lather which feels very smooth on the skin and has a delicate, slightly citrusy scent. I have clear skin but the pores on my nose and cheeks have become enlarged over the decades. I noticed a distinct improvement in the visibility of my pores within three days and - if I use the soap every day - now have a hard time finding any visible pores, at all. I'm very pleased with it.

I have an oily tea zone with patches of dry skin on my face, it's acne prone and has scarring. I really struggle to find products that target everything I need without having to buy several different products. This product doesn't really have a smell I wouldn't say(at least it doesn't anymore), and lathers up perfectly. It really has made my skin better, I have far less breakouts now and has even slowed down the reoccurrence of my cystic acne breakouts. I really notice if I forget to use it for a couple of days. It has lasted so long, I bought this in November 2021 and I'd say it would probably last nearly a full year using it every day. My bar is significantly smaller now but will still last a long time as yet. As usual with bars of soap you tend to get a waxy residue after washing, but after the first few uses I noticed that this no longer happened so I assume it's just the outer layer that causes this to begin with.

It works well, but it is just not worth the money I think.

Bought for my pre teen who is suffering from spots on her back quite badly, (with the intention of trying it out myself) After 2 baths noticed a vast improvement on her back. Skin is no longer red and patchy, lots of spots gone. I had a break out of what felt like milia myself. My face and neck was like woodchip. Very bumpy, but not red. Nothing was shifting it. I used this once in a hot bath. After getting out and getting dried, i could feel the difference straight away. Skin felt less bumpy and more smoother and tighter, without feeling dry if you know what i mean. I usually get lots of blackheads on my nose and chin, and this also got rid of them. Overall it is an expensive soap, and it doesn't last very long if 2 of you are using it, but the results are amazing. I have now bought another. No other face wash, scrub, soap, lotion or cream has worked this well for me in all my 38 years of life. Try it. You won't be disappointed
