Was concerned when only 2 fairly flat medium sized boxes arrived which werent that heavy. 1 box contained framework and the other the hardboard shelves. The framework is thin and seems flimsy but once its all put together with the shelves it is sturdy. I found it so easy to slot together and even comes with a little rubber hammer to tap the pieces of the frame firmly in place. Followed advice of another reviewer to put bottom shelves in as I built it. Was ideal for my garage.

The media could not be loaded. These shelves are easy to put together and come with a rubber mallet included making it even easier. Instructions are fairly self explanatory. Once assembled they are very sturdy and stable. Overall great quality and great value for money.Only complaint would be that the packaging could be improved, you can hear the parts inside banging together as you lift the box. Luckily there was no damage to any of the parts in my delivery though

Bought these towards the end of November, had been watching the price on the company site and with shipping came up cheaper to buy from here. Read a lot of previous reviews which were really helpful, thank you. I bought a set of 30cm depth shelves for the utility and the 60cm for the garage. Boxes with the mallet are clearly labelled, and instructions are easy to follow. I'm a 4'11 female and managed to put these together by myself with the help of a screw driver (this was for prying brackets and bending the centre supports in to stop them moving, a blunt knife would work just as well), wall to lean the parts against and a step so I could reach the top properly (the majority of you wont need the latter). Screwdriver came in handy to pull some of the brackets out a bit more so they would sink into the slots easier. Took me around 30 mins per unit to put together including procrastinating in between. Frames are light enough to move around easily and they are all holding up really well.

Delivered with each bay in a seperate box - I assembled the bays over a number of weekends. Opened the first box, quickly realised that assembly would require a rubber mallet - went out and purchased from the local store, came to assemble the final bay - last box and was suprised to find a rubber mallet! So despite what I wrote in the original review there is no need to buy a rubber mallet - Note to BiGDUG it would be useful if the box with the mallet was marked in some way - thanxAssembly - MOST IMPORTANT BUY A RUBBER MALLET - essential for making the assembly easier. Assembly instructions are not great - could do with clearer drawings / photographs, but after the assembly of the first frame elements, it goes together relatively easily and quickly. The design is very clever the frames clip together - this works well, but the upright frame was a bit problematic because the frame elements that clip together were distorted and had to be bent back into shape for the clips to engage correctly. The frame elements are relatively flimsy, but once assembled the units are relatively sturdy - great for what we wanted to store stuff in the garage that will only be occassionaly accessed, but this could be a problem for storage where stuff needs to be frequently accessed. Overall the shelving units look good and do the job required.

Awesome shelving, sturdy and easy to put together, good value for money, some of the plastic boxes and lids were damaged in transit but replaced within 24hours of contacting customer service, may be back for more as I still need more racking 😆

Super quality and quite easy to assemble. No sharp edges, nice and sturdy, very good customer service. Bigdug products last well, are sturdy, and definitely worth the slightly higher cost than buying flimsy, poorly manufactured copies that cut your fingers, wobble, and a faff to assemble. I do like the BigDug brand!

Absolutely brilliant don’t get fooled that you get two boxes every part is split between two boxes, for the 3 shelf units, they are massive and strong , easy to put together, so clever and look fantastic.

It was simple enough to construct although the frame doesn't appear very strong. After I finished securing all the pieces I pushed it into the corner of the room and 2 legs buckled to 45 degrees. I managed to reshape the legs but am now conscious of a decreased lack of stability.
