The stool is easily assembled from good quality parts, The seat is in a suitably finished ply which I expected as it's tougher and they even send the necessary screwdriver and Allen key required for assembly.The only slight problem is that the seat is a bit hard and slippy which I suppose depends upon the state of your personal padding. It was easy to make a cover which can be padded to suit.

I bought two of these artist adjustable wooden stools. They both were a gift for two of my family members. Will likely stand the test of time. Bought to encourage art projects and to encourage playing music another hobby. Could easily be used for other projects too! Very pleased with these two items, as described and arrived safely and quickly/on time! Thankyou, I would definitely recommend!

Very nice stool overall, only problem the screws get loose after few weeks of using.

I reviewed this after I purchased it and said it was a great little stool.I sat on it the other day and went flying!The metal just sheared at the seat. Thinking about it the design is at fault. There is only about an 1.25 inch support in place around the top of the screw. Could cause a nasty accident. Avoid

Lovely quality wooden stools, bought two to use as bar stools / side tables as needed. They take up no space at all but are sturdy and well made. Packaged well and arrived safely. Chose this colour as they were on offer and very pleased.

Overall, well made and sturdy but knocked stars off because of minor damage, which I'm fairly sure if it was the manufacturer not amazon, because the packaging was not damaged. Nothing a sharpie won't sort out, but just disappointing.

I bought this to fit in a small space between office height base units, the type you find in a kitchen but lower height to make them suitable for an office setup. I have a space just wide enough for knees to fit in a bit, 33 cm wide. This stool is quoted at 32cm but in reality is just 30 across the seat and about 31 at the widest point across the legs. This makes it absolutely ideal.It seems very solid indeed, and is certainly very stable for such a narrow design. The adjustment is very smooth and with a good height range. At the highest though it would certainly be unstable, but then it's very unlikely to be used that high so it shouldn't be a problem.The addition of a thick foam pad and elasticated cover should make it more comfortable, as sitting on any hard surface for prolonged periods is never recommended, not good for the bones in your own base! The stool itself though, absolutely great.
