Rael Organic Cotton Cover Sanitary Pads for Women (XL Overnight, 24 Ct)

The material on these pads is extremely comfortable. I was previously wearing always extra heavy maxi overnight and the rael pads are WAY more comfortable against the skin. The Rael pads are also much longer. Like they literally take up my whole underwear. I’m going down one size to the regular overnight Rael pads because the extra long ones are a bit too much for me. They are so long they are hard to put in your underwear. I think the regular overnight ones which state they are 12.6” long will be perfect. So I have those ordered already. Literally after trying cotton pads I don’t think I will be able to go back to always. The absorption and cottony cover is so much better than the plastic feeling of always. I feel like with always the liquid just kinda sits on top of the pad but with rael the liquid soaks in immediately. The rael pads are also a perfect thickness- not too thick or thin. They also don’t bunch up or move. The always ones are extremely thick but the rael ones are still thick but slightly less bulky. I’m currently wearing the extra long overnight rael ones on my heaviest day and they have worked out absolutely perfectly! I feel super confident there would be no leaks. Like I stated I have the regular overnight ones coming today to wear from here on so I won’t have to fuss with the extra long ones barely fitting in my underwear. For reference I wear a size small or sometimes medium underwear. I’m sure the regular overnight size will be great and I’ll update if there’s any issues.

This is a HUGE size and covers ALL of the areas. No more leaking. I wear this one on the plane on long flights or at night when I’m on my period and it’s all organic cotton premium feel is noticeable. I am so happy I found these and stopped buying those petroleum foam, microplastic chemically treated pads with phalates and scents. This is the upgrade I never knew I needed. Thank you Rael for existing and taking care of our most sensitive area 🙏 This specific size can be noticeable with tight pants so if you want a more seamless look, try a smaller size for these. This one is the one I use for sleeping without worries of stains or leakage.

I will never go back to normal chemical filled pads after trying Rael. There is peace of mind knowing that this is a healthier, safer option for feminine hygiene. They are comfortable and soft, and I have not had any problems with absorbency. I was concerned that they wouldn't be as absorbent as mainstream brands and I'd have to use more than normal but these work so well that I think I've actually had to use fewer pads on a normal day. Love the different length options they offer. Only thing is that if you get sweaty, the "wings" won't stick well.

I’ve used these pads for two postpartum seasons now and they work perfectly! They’re larger than I need for my normal cycle, but they work great for the first few weeks after birth. I love that they’re organic cotton, so I don’t have any chemicals right up against my skin in a sensitive area. I will be buying more for my next baby!

Let me start by saying THANK YOU for actually being EXTRA long. For those of us big booty girlie's who have more real estate to cover having the length these have is absolutely amazing. They are a tiny bit thinner than I expected but still absorbent enough for all night. They are much softer than almost any brand I have tried and have not given me ANY irritation even when sweaty. The only complaints I have about these are the adhesive not being sticky enough. The pad tends to scrunch up shortly after putting it on if I wear it walking and moving around. The wings don't stay stuck to my underwear at all. Also the wing placement is a little awkward for me PERSONALLY. The price is pretty steep and unfortunately I will not be able to buy these consistently but again that's a me problem not a company problem. Other than that these are great

Extra long pad - great for laying down/sitting for long periods of time, actually long enough to catch blood that makes its way to your backside, and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a diaper. There’s no synthetic fibers or artificial scents that make your period smell unpleasant. No weird rubbing or sensitivity either. I’m never going back to the popular period products after this. Highly recommend swapping over.

I love these pads. They don’t irritate me or anything. BUT I am so hurt while writing this review. I usually never write bad reviews unless it’s necessary. So I used my overnight pad to sleep. And I’m at my boyfriend’s house. I bled all over the spot where I slept and on him. I’m literally crying. His face was hurtful. Of course he helped me clean it up. But, the pad had a tear in it on the sticky part. So we changed the sheets. We showered. He comforted me. And then we drank tea and went back to sleep. I check the next pad before I put it on. So did he. We didn’t see a tear. I wake up again and I bled all over again. And he was angry at this point. Two sets of expensive sheets ruined! It’s literally a thin line sliced tear down the pads. I had to go to the store and buy always pads because that’s all they had. And they irritate me so bad! Now I’m sitting here hurt and angry!!!! I’ve never in my 33 years of life bled all over my bed and clothes. We had them delivered because I came on and I’m staying at his place for the holidays. So he doesn’t have to drive 30 minutes to pick me up everyday while we do activities with friends and family this week. I want a refund. Or a new pack. Because this is hurtful. It’s embarrassing. We took a couple more out and check with pouring juice in them. And they too had a slice down it. I’m a heavy bleeder. With horrible cramps. So just imagine the mess!!!! I am soooooooo hurt. Although we’ve been together for two and a half years. But this is just crazy to me that this happened. I haven’t messed my clothes up since I was 11-14 years old, when I was still learning what pads to put on and how to keep the pad positioned. I keep fitted shorts on to keep the pad in place while I sleep. But no! It went straight through it!!!!!! I wish I could upload pics but it’s horrific. He’s been very silent all day. He know I always ask him to look at my butt to make sure I’m good when we are out because I bleed heavy. But I have never had this happen. Only when I miscarried. But I was at home. He came, help me clean up and the ER we went. This here, twice in one night is insane!!!!!!!! I am pissed and hurt. I need a new pack of pads. This is my second time ordering. And I love these pads. But this just may make me never order again 💔 Update::: I bought more from them and I don’t have an issue. Like I said I love these pads. Maybe I had a defaulted one. Which was so heartbreaking. But hey it’s life. I changed my stars to 5 because just one time I had an issue with the product. But I feel overall this brand is a good brand. It doesn’t irritate her down there and I’m not having any rashes.

I wanted to get something different, new and natural menstrual pad to wear for two nights only. I found this brand, ordered it from here on amazon and tried it and turned out really great no leak and it has really longest and wide which it won’t able go over to the pantie, (have to make sure to put it on pantie properly.) It is better than always pure Cotton extra heavy overnight and Kotex clean & secure extra heavy overnight So Kotex clean & secure extra heavy overnight is really REALLY AWFUL!!! and felt pretty thick as like the THICKEST DIAPER!!! And Always pure cotton extra heavy overnight isn’t too bad but does leak on pantie from it when sleep on back, stomach and sides positions. It can be ok for a day not night. I only use two Rael ELO pads on first and second nights. It will be depends on the individual who has heavy or incredibly heavier flow they get for first and second nights, including first and second days. I really enjoy to wear it for night. I am thinking about getting the same brand to wear for heavy flow on first and second days; large or overnight size. I am sure it will be much better than always pure cotton Sure it can messed and stuck on the skin due cotton pad unless shaved. no worries it will wash away in shower or with fragrance free menstrual wipe. I highly recommend it! Oh the price isn’t too bad. It has 24 packs in a box. I usually to get two boxes (48 packs) it can save money and take almost two years! If one box (24 packs), it will be one year. I am guarantee you will love this brand! Sorry for wrote a lot 😅

I got these for my postpartum and they were very useful. However I did find them a bit too long but I guess it did give me some relief in knowing that there would be no leaks. I also really liked the cotton top layer because I have very sensitive skin and other pads give me a rash not unlike diaper rash. Very comfortable.
