Le Petit Saunier Salted Butter Caramels in Large Box (7 ounce)

Unfortunately these were out of date when I received them. I did not contact shipper as I was out of country when they arrived. I'm sure they were better when in date. There was a slightly off flavor some of my Christmas guests mentioned - giving me reason to look at the expiration date on box. They had gone out of date in November. Considering their yummy contents of butter etc., I'm sure that date is important! So check your dates people, they are there for a reason'

The container of the caramels was broken.

They weren't kidding when they said salty... this tasted like salty, burned butter. It had no sweet taste at all. So disappointing.
