Perfect Fit!
The screws supplied had to be shortened but otherwise it fit perfectly!

Quality improvement needed
Nice rail however the mounting screws need some improvements. Torq bit provided was a little loose for the head. The screws were a little long (or rail milled to deep) as they protruded into the action. I had to file them down to correct instead of returning it.

Identifying Large or Small Ring Mauser
1.40 (36mm) or 1.30" diameter ring? Cocks when bolt handle is lifted or cocks with bolt rammed forward? Large and then small in these two cases. Im no expert but I had to know for myself before I ordered this product. No reflection on product itself.

Quality product
This is a nice rail and it fit my early 1970s Parker Hale 1200 short action rifle. Would have preferred a steel rail, but this one in aluminum will work. The fit and finish are excellent. One slight negative is the inclusion of hex head screws and one of the screw heads stripped during installation. So, they were replaced with torx head screws and all is well. This is a quality product and the company's customer service is excellent.
