LegamasterMagnetic Marker Holder,White

I had been looking for some time at various things found in shops to serve the problem of how to keep my pens safe in an uncluttered yet handy place in the kitchen. But alas no luck until I was searching on Amazon one day for an unrelated item and came across the 'Legamaster Magnetic Marker Holder in White' and instantly knew it would do the job admirably. I don't have any White-Boards but instead still use paper pads for jotting down notes etcetera all of which adorn the front of my tall Freestanding Fridge Door so everything of importance is kept in just one place.The unit itself is very well made and comes complete with two exceptionally strong magnetic strips spaced on each side of the rear, running top to bottom and is proving to be far more satisfactory than one would have imagined. So it only leaves me to say that this product is well worth its meagre price tag and will thoroughly recommend.

The magnetic strips on the back of this marker pen holder are sadly not strong enough to hold on a magnetic glass white board (i.e., the metal plate behind the glass is effectively too far away due to the thickness of the glass and the weakness of the magnetic strips). This holder is only compatible with standard melamine white boards.As a work-around, I ordered some Strong Neodymium Bar Magnets which magnetically attach to the existing magnets and provided the necessary magnetic strength. It takes too much space on the whiteboard. Magnets could be a bit stronger. I also expected 4 pens are included but they are not (!). I find it a bit expensive for a bit of plastic with glued magnets. I don't recommend. I would need something which hangs below the whiteboard so it does not take the space and keeps pens in vertical position.

My old system of storing pens was somewhat of a turkey-shoot. My whiteboard had a little tray, and I would keep my pens there. That got old fast, I would walk by and knock the tray off then I have to chase after the rolling pens like a cheese-rolling funfest. Not cool man.Then I found this beauty, how friggin cool?! Stick your pens....on the whiteboard! Spared no expense. Good magnets, good mould of plastic. I call the bottom hole 'fast fingers fun' - pop out that bottom guy lickety split with your finger and get to work. Easy money.

Attaches to metal shelf sides... no issues. Added Staedtler lumocolor pens... didn’t budge. So should do the job bob on.**Update** I returned this item at the beginning of September as it does not attach to glass whiteboards, as a result I have given this a 4 Star rating.
