I have been using Life Mate since the mid 1970s and continue to supplement my diet each day. I replaced my daily otc multivitamin with Life Mate for at least a couple of years. It has all the necessary basic needs for me. I have noticed less illness over the years. I feel like a more productive person because of Life Mate.

I was once told by an MD involved in supplements to never take a multivitamin that comes in a single pill - in her words, no way to fit what is needed in a single pill. I've seen multis that come in 2-3 giant pills; this one comes in 4 very reasonably sized capsules that are easy to swallow. They do come with a smell to them, but that didn't bother me though - I found it mildly pleasant.I appreciated that this multi offers a good collection of minerals, including zinc, copper, iron, and iodine. With respect to the "special dietary cofactors" I still don't understand why having 200 mg of fiber is a big deal (not the only supplement to advertise such quantities, but to be fair, we need around 30g a day, so 200 mg... it's less than 1%). But the combination of digestive enzymes looks interesting.After taking it for a while, I would say that it works as a multi, but I cannot really see a difference from my regular choice for a multivitamin (which comes at half the cost of this one) - probably the main difference I notice is that these pills are easier to swallow than the gigantic ones a lot of multis come in. So my final comment would be that I think it's a good multivitamin but at a pretty high price point.

I worked for the company for 4 years. I have taken it for over 20 years. For me I feel it helps with my energy level and overall wellness. I definitely feel the difference if I quit taking it.

This has all the usual daily vitamins in all the varied percentages which seems to be the norm these days. I would think 100 percent of each vitamin would be enough. If individuals have a specific vitamin shortage they can always supplement themselves. Oddly, four whole capsules of these have only 50 percent of the daily requirement for vitamin D3. Deficiencies are very common with that particular vitamin. This product also contains nutritional supplements. Many seem natural and healthy though I can’t say I’m familiar with them all. As always, when you start slipping into supplement territory, check with a healthcare specialist to see if this is right for you. These vitamins smell really yucky which carries over slightly into the taste. They are big. I swallowed one fairly easily but could feel it in my throat then all the way down for a long time after. The recommended dose is four per day. I can’t see myself taking more than one at a time or going through this four times a day. It could be that this is a very helpful product. I often have trouble swallowing, others might be fine with it. Just be sure to check with your doctor or nutritionist.

This is a basically a MVI which includes over 39 vitamins and multiple minerals. What is is odd to me is that many of the vitamins are several hundred percent greater than the recommended RDI and others are significantly under the RDI. There is no rational for this anywhere. Basically if too much water soluble vitamins are consumed in a set period they are wasted and if they are fat soluble they are stored. However storage of too much fat soluble vitamins can become toxic. To me this is an issue which I don’t want to deal with so I really cannot get behind this multivitamin.

The Natural Wonders Life Mate – Multivitamin Supplement is an overall quality supplement. I like its array of vitamins. The only downside is the smell is a bit strong.
