Conclusion of The 5 Love Languages
This book is for those who want to improve their relationship with spouse. However, these basic rules can be applied anywhere from personal to professional life. According to author there are 5 love languages and every love language has it’s own dialect. Key is to find the primary and secondary love language of your spouse. The 5 Love languages are : I) Emotional support or words of encouragement. II) Spend Quality Time and give undivided attention (without watching TV or Smart Phone) III) Give Gifts ( and the most powerful gift is our physical presence at the time of difficulty.) IV) Act of Service ( help your spouse at home by doing her work such as cooking, cleaning or washing etc.) V) Physical touch ( have physical touch especially at the time of crisis). The author has very well explained that how can we find out the primary love language of our spouse. He has given several examples to prove his hypothesis. I really liked this book. This book can be finished in 1 or 2 sitting because it has only 200 pages. Language used in this book is very simple. Overall it is a must read book for anyone who want to keep good relationship with others.

Will be useful for any relationship
This is a classic book and helped me to reflect deeply on my relationship with my spouse Kavi. The 5 love languages are Words of Affirmation (eg I love when you smile), Quality Time, Gifts, Acts of Service ( eg Clean the House) and Physical Touch. I am quite confident that my primary love language is words of affirmation from my spouse. Even a simple thank you makes my day. The primary love language for my spouse is quality time. She hates when I watch debate shows on TV or check FB during odd hours. I found it quite odd that things like gifts, acts of service or physical touch are very secondary even though I do groceries or buy sarees or give a massage (i am a qualified Thai masseur). I found this book was a good read especially since it is early in my second marriage. My wife has told me many times she fell in love with me because I express my love by spending time in person rather than just online.

EXTRA !
This is a simple idea with real impact: people give and receive love differently. Gary Chapman breaks it down into five clear “languages,” making relationships easier to understand—and improve. It’s not groundbreaking psychology, but it’s practical, relatable, and surprisingly effective. A quick read that can genuinely change how you connect with others.

Excelente libro
