A wonderful book for young writers to introduce them to creative writing using fairy tales & humor.
I got this from the library for my grandbabies & we all love it. I collect fairy/folk tales, so this was a natural for us. For really young children who can't write or read yet I plan to use the outline for them to verbally compose fractured fairy tales & then transcribe them.Contents are: What is a fractured fairy tale? * Getting started. * Mix and Match * Get ready to write * Putting it together * glossary * For more informationIf you want to really know if this book is for you, go to your local library. If they don't have a copy there is always the option of the Inter-Library Loan procedure (books usually take about 3 weeks to arrive). I almost always preview books from the library before purchasing ... it has saved a lot of disappointment.
