Too slippery to grip
While this band would work fine for some purposes, like tying to a pull-up bar and putting your foot or knee in for pull-up assistance, it doesn't work very well for a basic band pull apart because it's too slippery. You can't grip it and just pull it apart because your hands will slide down the band. I've only seen one other band that was slippery like this. That was in a store, and I didn't buy it. There are other brands that are much more grippy. I got one and am much happier than I was with this one.

Depends on what you plan to do with it...
Don’t get confused like I did and think you’re ordering all 5 bands. You’re only ordering 1 band. And they are thin in width, so while the band is strong, it’s difficult to do the hip thrusts that I bought it for because it doesn’t sit comfortably on my thighs.

Get on up!
At 6' and 235 lbs pull-ups were a tough exercise for me. Although I use a lat pull machine regularly, those reps seemed to never translate into reps on the pull-up bar. The assist band allows me to train for up to 10-12 reps for sets. This increased from 2-3 without the band. I bought the green one and will soon purchase the next size down as my reps get easier. Great product! I have not used the assist band on any other exercises shown. I would definitely recommend this product!!!

Absolute unit! Me and my coworkers have been having ...
Absolute unit! Me and my coworkers have been having sporadic rubber band fights around the clinic recently and unfortunately I have been bested more times than I care to admit. But all that changed once this arrived. My fellow employees fled before my newfound power! Oh yeah, you can also use it to help your pull ups I guess.

Highly Recommend
I've been consistently training with weights since high school, that's over twenty years but recently I decided to drastically change my training methods and began using Iron Bull Strength Equipment along with my calisthenics routine. I highly recommend the Iron Bull Equipment for those folks who are truly interested in shaping, toning and strengthing muscles in a different way.

Absolutely perfect for variation training!
I purchased the purple (40-80lbs resistance) bands for some band training on my heavy lifts. They worked amazingly for providing the resistance at the sticking point and thru the eccentric part of the movements. I personally used them on bench press and barbell back squat so far; will try them with deadlifts, but as assistance bands. Fantastic training tools, especially if you'll fell stuck with certain compound lifts.

Help with Pull Ups
When I purchased this product, I purchased the #1 red band - 10-35 lbs. It is a good quality band. I have used it a few times and it has helped me to work on doing a pull up. I should have purchased the #2 black band - 30-60 lbs. because I actually needed a little more help than I thought. I would definitely buy this product again.

... I still need with pull-ups and it is working great! I've been working on my Pull-Ups for years ...
I ordered the red one for that little tiny bit of help I still need with pull-ups and it is working great! I've been working on my Pull-Ups for years and there's one small area in the movement that I need a tiny bit of help pushing off a chair with and this is helped immensely in strengthening to get past that. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to improve their pull ups or for someone who literally can't do any lol :-)

Read Carefully
the add led me to believe I was purchasing the entire set, when in actuality I only received one.

WARNING, this is ONLY ONE BAND
This picture is misleading and pure BS. It's only ONE yellow band. Now, you can imagine the disappointment when you're expecting the set.Message to the dunce of a seller. Make it extremely clear rather than hiding the product detail in the middle of fine text.Lastly, put a @#%@@ picture of what you will receive.

Great quality, very practical
This resistance band is great for assisted pull-ups, and great for adding resistance to bodyweight exercises like reverse lunges and squats, as well as rows and other isolation exercises like curls

Great band
I bought the blue one since I weigh over 200 pounds. Did three chin ups with the band. After one week, I can now do over five. It's resistant enough and I will definitely buy the green one after the blue one gets too easy. Don't do the assistant pull-up machine. Buy a band like this one. It will prepare you better for your real first chin/pull up.

Needed something during the Corona Virus
I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only person that's going to say this...but...I ordered these since I needed an alternative to the gym. The package came VERY quick and I was able to get into a good sweat with these within 4-days of ordering them. After using them for a number of exercises, I might convert alot of my current routines to use bands. These things are great and I highly recommend them for anyone that plans to workout at home. They're easy to break in, they're easy to store away, and there's a number of exercises that you can do with them. It does take a little creativity, but you can look up alot of exercises on Youtube/Google.

Good product.
I bought these bands to do all kinds of different workouts in my home gym, they replace a cable machine and for me that's great as I love the cables, they're pretty strong and haven't snapped on me yet I even bought the yellow one but for some reason the red one doesn't show up on options to purchase otherwise I'd buy that one too!Update: I’ve bought the whole set as the single option bands for black yellow and purple were also bought and since I was so happy with the quality and the workouts o was getting done along with my dumbbells it was a no brainer for me to have the whole set. They’re absolutely great! 5/5

Arrived on time and is awesome
Love he band. I'm using it for assisted pull ups. I weigh 118lbs and alet hough I'm not new to the gym. Doing a pull up is impossible for me...so this is helping. The (purple) band is helping. I can do 3 sets of 5 reps...complete reps...as in I can pull myself up to and look over the top of the squat rack. Slowly I'll make my way up to 20..then progress to doing them on my own..or maybe buy thr next band (which is lighter).

Not a set. You only get the flimsy yellow one..
The product by itself is okay-ish.. however, you only get the more or less useless yellow one, not the entire set like the picture would let you believe. For that reason i give it 2 stars..

Super strong
2 years of use and it's still very strong!A simple band with a powerful logo. What is there to say about this? It's a black resistance band that holds up. I use it in different ways, it can hold my entire body weight when doing pull ups, adds resistance to my push ups.Completely satisfied.

Purple Power
Hello Everyone, I got the Purple band. It's a fairly thick one and it's likely the one I need to do the assisted pull up. I'm a little bummed that every gym and play structure or piece of equipment is closed due to COVID-19. But this is a good band, I can see that I'll be using it for years to come. Maybe Iron bull has a pull up bar I could get?

Misleading to say the least.
Surprised to say the least that when a pack of 6 bands show on the image....the red one was delivered. Read carefully the fine print. I would have thought that Amazon would weed out this type of misleading (and I am being very very kind here) advertising.I would recommend staying as far away from this vendor as you can!!!!

GOOD QUALITY
Great customer service. The band is useable for pretty much about everything. I use it for chin-ups and banded thrusts. I'm 115 lbs (female) and could do 4 unassisted chin-ups for 1 set. I use the band that is 30-60 pounds and it allows me to do 5 chinups for 4 sets. I wish I had a reference of which resistance I needed, but the band works for me. likely will purchase the band with higher resistance for trying out pull ups soon and higher resistance in thursts
