This was hands down the best money we’ve spent in a long time! I got this as a Father’s Day gift for my husband after we watched a dad and his 20-year-old son have a blast with a similar excavator at the beach last summer. After comparing options on Amazon and TikTok and reading tons of reviews, I went with this one—and it did not disappoint. The size is impressive (check the video for comparison to a smaller one we already owned), and it comes with two batteries, each lasting about 45 minutes. It’s super durable, handles both wet and dry sand with ease, and has great traction and power to move across the beach. The design is excellent—realistic, sturdy, and thoughtfully engineered to perform well on sand. It keeps everyone entertained while I relax and read, and honestly, there’s no age limit with this toy—it’s fun for adults and kids alike. We started with the excavator, but now we’re planning to add the dump truck, bulldozer, and loader to our collection. Highly recommend!

I purchased this for my dad as a Christmas gift, as he has worked in excavating all his life and I figured it would be a great gag gift. I doubt he will take it out to play with much, but it turned out to be a really high quality model, with lots of detail, and he will probably keep it as decoration on a shelf. As a toy, it's really easy to use while being challenging enough to have fun trying different things with it. Everyone on Christmas started passing around the controller, challenging each other to pick up objects off the floor. Even my two year old son was able to figure out basic functionality enough to drive it around. Functionally, it works very well and lasts over a half hour on a charge. The operation of the boom is simplified down to a simple button press to cycle it through a scooping motion, so if you want more complex control of the boom, you should look elsewhere, but as a toy it felt like more than enough control for pushing and pulling objects. Overall, as long as you don't expect too much from it, it's a fun toy that looks great as a static model. Real excavator enthusiasts may be disappointed with the lack of individual controls for the bucket and arm, but the simplified operation makes it much easier for children to experience.

My son loves this RC. He picked it out himself. He is big into vehicles and engineering so this is right up his alley. It's built well for what it is and the batteries keep it's charge for a decent amount of time. It's easy enough for my son (10yrs) to recharge and hook up the battery when it needs to be replaced. I think it's a great RC vehicle for the price. I ordered this as a Christmas gift. It was delivered on time. When my son opened it, the rechargeable cable for the battery unit was broken, so he could not recharge it. He was upset because he loved this RC. I reached out to the Seller via Amazon and messaged them about the issue. They quickly sent out a brand-new RC Excavator which was received within 4 days. The replacement has no issues. We were directed by the Seller to return the damaged toy within 30 days. We did and received prompt notification that the return was accepted. No further issues, customer service was prompt and courteous with replies.

Purchased as a gift for my spouse, and having looked at dozens of models I landed on this option. Be sure to plan for the initial battery charging time (I didn't plan ahead lol).

This excavator bought November 2024, for my 7 year old grandson. I don’t normally buy RC because they get a beat and don’t last., this is still in use. I called my grandson to get his take on it. He said he likes it a lot, I asked why, he said it digs, it works good. So he is happy and so am I. I asked him what is the something you don’t like. He said it moves to slow. So there you go from a kids prospective. A good toy to buy, to improve it make it move faster, Litle guy gets impatient he wants to dig now! Should be possible, Right. If this toy is still going it’s durable, I bought it because of its nice design, and looks like the real big ones.

Can’t use in sand and the battery doesn’t stay charged long but it’s fun to play with.

Bought this for my 8 year old son because he loves excavators.. his eyes lit up when he unwrapped it little did I know I would be in for just as big of a surprise. The quality of it was amazing and the fact that it lights up near the bucket was another great feature. The forward reverse and 360 moves was ideal for him because he wanted one that acted like a real excavator and that’s exactly what this is! The other feature I liked is that you can move it with the remote on your own or with the push of a button it moves by itself and does all the functions which makes it great for any age or skill set. Also having two batteries was great… Would order again for sure

I bought this for my 4-year-old son, he loves this remote control excavator. It works as expected with a remote control and he's able to operate it quite well. We let him play with it inside for quite a while moving some toys such as Legos around and when the weather warms up we brought it outside to the sand pit. It seems to do well in both situations.

I used this item and found it did not do what you would expect something like this to do. It is moor for looks then use.

Better than expected, the construction of this toy is pretty durable making it great for younger kids, battery doesn’t last very long but comes with two batteries in the box so as long as you keep both charged it’s not a deal breaker! Would recommend.
