good anchovies
good freshly packed anchovies. The problem with many brands is that anchovies are not cooked like say sardines so they are supposed to be kept in the refridge so they don't go bad. In a supermarket they are out on the floor with the other canned goods, and if the store does not turn lots of them quickly they swell and go bad. These well fresh dates, and we put them right in the refridge. Taste really well. Out of many cans, we only had one that had small annoying bones in it. I use in salads

not as tasty as some other brands
I like black anchovies and the Cento product is black anchovies. But they are not as flavorful as other brands I have had (e.g., King Oscar). I don't know if this is a difference in brand, or may be due to varition in the fish themselves or in their handling (shipping during summer heat may have reduced their flavor). They are still a good product and a good value, so I may buy them again.

Delicious and Pricey
These are an excellent anchovy choice, delicious and well preserved. Stored in oil they’re especially useful for sauces, soups or plopped onto a frozen pizza. That said, the exact same brand can be bought at my local Trader Joe’s for less (east coast prices) so may not include in my Amazon Fresh cart again.

I was overcharged. This was a disturbing transaction!!!
It came with Hagen Dazs Ice Cream and I was cheated out of a second container and overcharged for the entire order. The Cento Anchovies were fine.
