Love 'em!
I am a hiking tour guide and Jelly Belly should sponsor me because I tell all my clients about these magic beans! Yesterday I had a group of first-time snowshoers having a tough time finishing the route in deep fresh powder. Luckily I always keep a bag of Sport Beans on hand to help with the extra push. They really work to provide extra energy fast, not just a sugar rush. The whole group enjoyed sharing a bag and the second wind helped us finish the trail! Kids and adults love them.

Great for endurance sports
I love these Jelly Belly Sport Beans. I do a lot of long endurance runs, and when I’m out for over 90 minutes, I bring something like these Sports Beans or Gatorade Energy Chews. My “go to” used to be the “Extreme” Sports Beans (that include caffeine). I’ve switched to just supplementing caffeine pre-run and don’t worry about mixing it with my during run energy/electrolytes, so these Sports Beans are perfect to give me a little boost during a long, grueling run, and help keep my electrolytes replenished, especially when it is really hot out. I do not like liquid Gatorade or other electrolyte drinks or gels while running, so these are great way to get my electrolytes and carbohydrates in that I need.I was hesitant to order a variety pack because I wasn’t sure about the expiration date, etc., but these all expire June 2020 (two years away), so they should be fresh and good to go. In comparison to the Gatorade Energy Chews, which are my number two option for refueling, I prefer these Sports Beans because for 100 calories I feel like I get so much more actual food, I like the taste better, and when I slowly ration the jelly beans two at a time I feel like I can stretch them a bit farther (you get about 15 jelly beans per pack, compared to 6 energy chews with Gatorade).So far I’ve experience no cramping on very long runs (up to 3.5 hours) when I bring a couple packs of these jelly beans with me. I also usually drink at least two 17 oz bottles of water, sometimes more than that if it’s hot, so in combination with water these work for me and are really all I need to get in some super long runs. (Everyone’s different though, especially when it comes to fueling during a run, so may not work for you).

Great for long distance (endurance) athletes.
I purchased these sport jelly beans for my husband who is currently training for his first full Ironman, this August. He has tried chomps, and other energy gels but has found this product to be one of his favorite, to date.He says what he likes most about them is how easy they are to use, and eat on the go. You just simply throw a few in your mouth and there's no need to stop your workout to take them. He prefers to throw them into his bike pouch or running belt, loose, to make it even easier to take them. He likes the flavor and texture of them as well. I tried one and must say, they taste pretty good. He has told me he has no stomach upset from using these, which is important, as some energy supplements may cause that.This is a nice variety pack of different flavors and he is very happy with them. In fact, so much so, that he just asked me to order him two more cases of them. Yes, he really does go through that much energy supplements while training for this event! In any case, a good quality product.I have attached a picture of one of the flavors of sports beans (you'll get a whole case of them, with assorted flavors) so you can see the size of the packet and beans. This is not all of the beans in the package, just a small sample, to help with visualization.

Not the flavors pictured
I like these things for biking, but the pack is not what’s pictured. Ordered more than once, always get a bunch of strawberry banana and mixed. Hate the strawberry ones.

They are great for any fitness activities
I'm a huge fan of these. I've had every flavor and also the caffeine beans. They are worth it and work. I use them for the gym typically but they are good for any physical activity. Be sure to drink plenty of water because once you get going your body starts to sweat and you will need plenty of water

Magic jelly beans that really work
I refer to these as my “magic jelly beans”. They are a great addition to long runs. I pop a few every 3 miles or so and it really helps to keep moving. They are jelly beans though so expect some thick saliva for a bit. Flavors are good and product is well worth it for then energy gain.
