great climbing-style hard hat with super comfortable lining/suspension
Recently started at a jobsite requiring climbing-style hard hats rather than traditional style. Don't have the budget to go for the top end models, and frankly don't see that much of a difference. Tried some less expensive makes which seem fine, but prefer the Klein 60149. Clear ANSI label on the interior satisfied our safety rep right off the bat. The more squared off shape of the Klein helmet felt and looked more comfortable to me than the rounder shape of other makes. But the real selling point was the robustness and comfort of the internal lining/suspension - well worth spending that little bit more than the cheaper makes.

CHIM STRAP NOT EASY TO FIX
CHIM STRAP WAS NOT PROPPER SIZE TO MY HEAD. WAS NOT EASY TO FIX THE SITUATION. REMOVE THE CHIM STRAP ITS NOT EASY AT ALL. THE HAT WEIGHT IS CONSIDERABLE.

Worthless to me
It doesn't fit. It's the suspension that fits to your chin. I'm an average 6 ft male. True I have an egg shaped head but the harness comes down and doesn't completely clear my ears. The harnesses adjustable and still doesn't fit barely fits jaw to jaw. I'm just an average guy it would be fine for little people but if you're manly man forget it.

Doesn’t fit large heads
If you have a larger head (like you wear a L/XL fitted hat like me), this will not fit. I bought one because a lot of sites are talking about requiring these in the future, and I have the full brim Klein hard hat with the light. So I thought I would try it out.I adjusted the support frame when I put it on and I could feel the back support points where it attaches to the helmet pushing against the back of my head.It was all pre-assembled and properly adjusted (not much too it other than turn the dial on the back) and it just didn’t feel right when wearing it.If you have a smaller head it would probably be just fine, but it just doesn’t fit on larger heads.

It’s already 2 years old
It’s really comfortable for a hard hat and lenses are great. Hard hats expire every 5 years by OSHA. Its already 2 years old.
