Delonghi Filter Assembly 2 Cup For Delonghi EC860, ECP3420, EC680M, ECP3630

I was having issues with the original filter basket causing blockages and the whole machine backing up and aborting the coffee making process, sometimes only barely dripping out. This was caused by the original filter's rubber lining being so old (4 years) and worn out that it wasn't stopping small grains of ground coffee from slipping through and blocking the tiny outlet hold at the bottom of the basket under the filter/strainer part.Finding a tiny grain of ground coffee plugging the hole and causing the whole system to stop was disheartening, and after removing it and trying again, i'd be lucky for maybe one successful coffee, around 75% chance to block up again. It makes a big mess each time too, with the back-log of water and ground coffee going everywhere.BUT! This new filter basket arrived and immediately everything works great again! No issues!

This works very well and takes the same amount of grams coffee as the original factory sealed basket. CLEANING.......Run an empty shot of how water through the basket...or...run it under hot water from the sink. This softens the rubber seal so it's not cold and stiff to remove and possibly tearing the seal. I use a tweezer and pull the tab gently and it comes right out neatly, without any struggle or problems. (I see alot of reviews negative about removing the inner basket and it's simple WHEN DONE RIGHT!!!)This is a great item....just buy it.
