We renovate houses we live in until completed. Normally a couple of years. Just fitted a new kitchen in this house with decorative copper strips and led lighting. Wanted something to replace council plastic food waste bin on the worktop. This copper compost bin is ideal. It looks lovely and bright and is very sturdy and matches the kitchen perfectly. Also I use the compost bags inside which last a week no prob for food waste and then transfer to outside food waste bin. Quite expensive for a food waste bin but with no smells or flies and being such good quality, makes it worth every penny. Decorative as well as functional. Looks much better on the worktop than a plastic waste bin. Comes with replacement filters. Seems quite sturdy. Plenty big enough for domestic use. Very pleased with it.

I got the copper coloured bin which is a really nice colour and looks good in the kitchen. The bin is a good size, you can fit larger bits in (like leek tops) but it is still nice and compact. We keep it on the floor but it’s a handy size to put on the counter top while you’re using it. The lid is really easy to take off but still keeps the smell in.We are really pleased with this bin. I was looking for something without a plastic inner bin as they always break. Being made of metal this should last for ages and it’s a genuinely good product. It is much better at keeping in smells than our old compost bin. Would recommend without hesitation.

Nice quality and aesthetic, use as kichen top food waste

I hardly ever write reviews but this compost bin is AMAZING!!! I love supporting small businesses, especially when the product is this good. The filters included are incredible, there is absolutely no smell coming out of this bin, no matter how much stuff you cram into it or how long it sits there. I'm talking over a week without emptying and it doesn't smell AT ALL. It looks beautiful on our counter, the design is lovely and matches our other copper bits and bobs. It's big enough to hold quite a bit of compostable waste, but not so big it takes up half the counter space. There's no rust or discoloration with frequent use. It's honestly perfect. PERFECT. I'm about to order another one for our bed and breakfast, I love it so much. THANK YOU!

Second time we’ve bought this. The last one broke after about 3 years. Looks great, and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It is well used in a busy kitchen for food waste. Disappointing the last one broke, but we did buy again as we like it. It is shipped in a very compact box which my children enjoyed playing with. I’ve given 4 stars due to the last one breaking.

A stylish option for composting food -neat & fit for purpose.Very sturdy construction with a tight fitting lid.The filter in the lid keeps food smells at bay & is easy to change.Would definitely recommend.

This bin is slightly bigger than the one it was replacing which concerned me - but these concerns were misplaced.The size enables larger food waste items to be added without having to cut them up.The filters work really well so I can leave items in for longer than I used to with no nasty smells.The lid works brilliantly - tight enough but not so tight you struggle to remove it.The styling is great. Modern but not ‘sci-fi’.Would recommend.
