Magical!
I don't usually write reviews, but this gadget is a gift from heaven! The fluid in my ear had thickened so badly and was keeping me up all night. I resorted to all sorts of tricks to get it out, but to no avail! The vibrations the massager creates made things move and I felt how it slowly drained out. I had to experiment and change the angle, but once you get the right angle, its magical! Thank you! It worked for me, and might not for everyone, but I suggest you give it a try.

I used as directed and it did nothing. Waste of money.
I recovered from an inner and outer ear infection but it left my ear feeling clogged and plugged. While I await my appointment with an ENT, which is three months away, I was willing to try anything. I read the directions, watched the YouTube video and read most of the Amazon reviews. I used it a few times a day, tried different angles and locations behind my ear, tried it after hot showers and warm compresses. I tried it all and it did absolutely nothing. Save your money.

For me, no help. Update, I spoke too soon.
The item came in a crashed and open box but was rewrapped with a clear green printed Amazon bag (Warehouse? I ordered and paid for new) and just tossed on a thin plastic envelope with a 5.3-pound box on top of it. The item had no damage, and with an ear infection, one has any thoughts more on help than on a lousy shipment. It might help half of the cases, going by the reviews here. But it is a hit or miss, based on one's case. I have the ten-step option item here; it feels well build and has a fair price point. The instruction shows no love nor accurate tips on using it correctly. Going by some reviews, they found a sweet spot. So I explored any angle, position, and strength in the hope of making some progress. Nopeโฆ As far as I can remember, this is the first fluid build-up in my ear, so I explore and try all kinds of things. To blame this device is certainly not on my list. As someone else wrote, please make your own experience with it. Good luck. Update: I found my sweet spot, the side of my nose. This has improved my symptoms. No idea if that works for others. I use Amazon's Saline Spray as well./update

Kinda works, kinda doesn't. You must epoxy the head in.
I have eustachian tube dysfunction in the spring get sickly every couple days due to infections. This won't work if you're stuffed up, but can help you clear SOME material if you're lucky. Get one if you're skeptical, just to have. If you are like me, you are so desperate at times that you'll try anything. This does work sometimes so it's worth keeping in your bag of tricks along with exercises and pseudoephedrine drugs. Here's a tip: use epoxy to lodge the head of this in so it vibrates better and you can press hard and the head doesn't fall out.

An option people don't know about
Nice alternative or can be perfect addition to meds to move that fluid along. No systemic side effects to worry about. I like that you can pick the speed that is most comfortable for you.

Product stopped working after only about a 1/2 a doz uses
Wiring was faulty. Not soldered correctly. So stopped working after a couple of months. Though I only used it periodically I did depend on the item for ringing in the ear when it becomes intolerable. Too bad the return window is closed or I would exchange it because it dose work with ear problems.

triggered a migraine, overpriced construction, AA batteries not incl
Very poorly simple made, requires batteries not included for this price point of what looks like a Dollar genre item, Does nothing to help the issues this far but create a migraine
