My refrigerator display went out and the refrigerator died. After researching the problem on You-Tube, I determined that the main circuit board had failed. I purchased one from Amazon at a reasonable price. I installed and programmed the new board and it is working great. I saved several hundred dollars and am very happy with this purchase. The installation and programming instructions were easy to follow.

At first I was a little uneasy about attempting to repair my refrigerator because of all the things you have to check to make sure the board is the correct one and compatible and also how many different versions of the board they make. Mine just so happened to be that A version. And just like everyone said the programming instructions are fairly simple between removing the old board installing the new one and programming it it took me all of about 5 minutes if that and lo and behold at the end of the day my refrigerator is up and running and has been for over a week now. Thank you so much you saved me a tremendous amount of money replacing this French door refrigerator that I have that I can't stand but with the holidays in the near future it definitely saved me a boatload of money. Watched YouTube video and bought part suggested on. “Mother Board “Installed myself and programmed for my specific model with help of videos available on YouTube. Took like 15 minutes.Cost less than 100$ to repair. Quite a bit cheaper than a new fridge. Part is working perfectly.

I was in a hurry to get a new board for my fridge (Maytag MFI2569VEM4, PCB # W10312695B). Hastily I purchased one on Amazon described as: "OEM - Genuine Certified". A poor assumption on my part, that it would be a new product, specially at a price of $150. The board had a considerable amount of flux on the back and after further inspection, a (only one) capacitor had been replaced. After looking on YouTube for a bit, that capacitor is the primary culprit on these boards that go bad. Being optimistic I used it and replaced the original pcb. After about 2-3 weeks the fridge started making the same noises when the original board failed. Back to Amazon for another replacement. As far as I can tell this board is band new. Now in the fridge it's purring like a kitten. Get to keep this fridge, and saved big time $$$ on potential repairs/replacement. Very pleased with this product, the price, and fast delivery. 5 stars +++ For anyone on the fence about doing this yourself, it's a simple procedure to replace the circuit board. However, I did have to go to YouTube again for more detailed instructions on how to program the board, but that went very well too.

UPDATE! It's been less than a year since I installed this board and it is already starting to fail. The ice dispenser flap is now opening and closing on it's own. We have also been hearing many pops and ticks. Researching these issues I have discovered the control board is the issue and is going to have to be replaced AGAIN. Since I bought it from Amazon Warehouse Primeco would not warranty it.Easy to install. I was a little worried when it arrived. Mine came from Amazon Warehouse and whoever repacked it didn't get the bubble wrap around the board real good. There was evidence of this on the anti-static bag because that was all that was between the components on the board and the bottom of the box. Big sticker on the anti-static bag stating the board couldn't be returned once it had been opened made me hesitant. I decided to take a chance since Amazon Warehouse didn't have anymore. I was not disappointed. Board worked perfect after programming. Just pay attention to the instructions on how to program the board once it is installed. Read thru the instructions on programming it a couple of times before you try to program the board the first time. Make sure you follow the steps in order and you won't have any problems.

Was really hesitant at first to purchase. The name brand board that goes into my Whirlpool refrigerator is over $600. I didn't expect much out of something that was a quarter of the price. I was wrong. I installed the product, which was extremely easy, and it worked great. It's only been 3 days but my refrigerator is ice cold and running great. The only recommendation I have is grounding yourself before touching the board put of the box. In addition, make sure you unplug and plug back in your refrigerator after reprogramming. The condenser likely won't kick on right away and this will fix the issue.
