The Complete Novels of Jane Austen (Wordsworth Special Editions)

Jane Austen is a classic and I couldn't resist getting a book with her entire works. I loved Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, most recently; Mansfield park. I haven't read the rest of them yet but there are several stories, like Northanger Abbey and Emma, and Lady Susan. There's so much talent to her writing its hard to put it down. I've seen the films but I think the book can bring out a richer experience of the stories too. There's so much in her writing that really speaks to every girl and woman alike, from all sorts of generations, which only a classic can thrive and can stand the test of time. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is a Jane Austen fan or a future Jane Austen fan. Anyone can really enjoy this book.

The Complete Novels of Jane Austen is a good buy for any Austen fan. It includes every one of Jane Austen's stories in one book. Prior to each novel there is a title page separating the stories. The book is obviously a decent size since all of Austen's stories were kinda lengthy. I would recommend this to any Austen fan that would like the convenience of having all Jane Austen's novels at an easily accesible way.

I bought this book for my little sister after she expressed interest in reading some quality literature & revealing her love for the recent film adaption of Pride & Prejudice. She's not a collector, just an enthusiastic reader. This copy is perfect because she can keep all the novels with her throughout her busy schedule & make it her own. Thank you so much for a flawless present for my sister.

There are a lot of different options as far as Austen collections go. They really aren't too hard to find; however this is one of the best values I've seen for one in a while. It is a big book, but still not too large to be a major issue. I bought this as a gift for a friend, because I felt this would make a perfect gift for that friend or relative that's been dying to delve into Austen.

I found it very convenient to have all the novels of Jane Austen in one book. The print isn't so small that you can't see them and the book is sturdy so I don't have to worry about it falling apart from opening it so much. I've reallly enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone looking for Miss Austen's complete works. Amazon Rocks!

Great series. If you love her movies, the stories are even better. I read most when I was younger, but was delighted to reaquaint myself. Print is small so be prepared for that. I didnt' have a problem reading it and I am 71 with glasses. Enjoy, Sandi Shields

Unfortunately, this book has a weak binding. It is a heavy paperback. I read 7 pages only, using a book pillow and pages began to pull away from the binding at the bottom of the pages. This is too bad because the font is a nice size for reading. The pages are what you would expect. I was disappointed for sure. Amazon handled this for me instantly with a refund.

I had never read Jane Austen. This book pretty much has it all. And a great price! The paperback is actually nice with these, because it makes them less heavy to tote around

Papier und Einband sind für den Preis natürlich sehr dünn, aber man findet hier alle (abgschlossenen) Werke von Austen in einem Band, was auch nicht allzu häufig der Fall zu sein scheint. Es handelt sich um einen namenhaften Verlag und das Papier ist zwar dünn, es geht aber nichts kaputt. Man kann zufrieden sein.
