Honeywell Home RTH2510B1018 7-Day Programmable Thermostat

I hesitated to buy this Programmable Thermostat when my old one gave out. Watched a YouTube video and also called customer service. They were patient, explained everything, stayed on the phone with me and even helped me trouble shoot. Highly recommend. So far, working like a charm!

Another great product from Honeywell, this thermostat does everything we need it to do. Item is as described by the seller and would purchase again if needed.

I purchased this to control my pellet stove and is a great upgrade from a basic non-programmable thermostat I was using.The one I purchased is programmable for all 7 days of the week, and this is great for flexibility. The connections are standard, and explained well in the manual. The display lights up, which makes it easy if I need to check or set it without turning on the lights. One thing I have noticed about the display, which appears to affect ALL devices in this model is that the display looks like it has dust inside of it, though this could just be a design failure.Mounting it to the wall was easy, however, you do have to detach the thermostat from the wall plate to replace the batteries, which is not something I had to do with my old one. This isn't a big deal, but the thermostat is tightly secured to the wall plate and I worry that I might pull the whole thing off the wall trying to take it off.One thing I dislike about the device is that when programming, I cannot simply choose which days to program, I have to go through each one, which leaves the possibility of accidentally making changes to days other than what I intended, and it also takes a little longer.Minor inconveniences s aside, once you set the program, you should not need to mess with that much anymore, and this thermostat gets the job done.

I attached two photos to this review, both taken about a week apart, similar outdoor temps, on a Typical work day for me.I was keeping my house at 72 all day, and lowering it at night when I would sleep. Now I let the temp rise to 80 while I’m at work, and you can see my electric usage has decreased!This thermostat works great, since my fiance works from home 2 days a week.

These are fairly straight forward for installation BUT the build quality is very low. The connections are flimsy and the selector buttons feels like they may break easily. I'm not that satisfied with the product but hope it works for a few years before I replace the units (I bought two).

Simple thermostat that does the job.Good quality brand and easy to program if you don't need or want a smart thermostat.

I always buy this one, great product

I hired an electrician to install it and that went ok. It is difficult to program because each aspect of each day has to be done individually even through all 7 days are the same. The on/off control is a little piece of plastic that is difficult for someone with arthritis to move.
