PositivesBrilliant coat - only one I could find with a harness on the outside which we think is a major gap in the market... It’s neoprene so is very easy to wash and dries within a couple of hours. We have the orange/black colourway which is vibrant enough that we can spot our apricot cockapoo at the far end of a long sandy beach when he suddenly gets the urge to go haring off across it! The silver piping is reflective in the dark so makes walking at night much safer and the sturdy harness makes an excellent handle to grab the dog in an emergency.Our dog coat is the envy of other walkers who regularly stop us to ask where we got it. In fact, I’ve now texted my partner the Amazon link so he can pass it on to everyone who asks - it’s that good! Maybe I should be asking for commission... 😀It’s fairly simple to get on our dog but we do have a process we follow: we make him sit first then pull his front paws through one at a time, clip the press-stud at the neck (to stop it falling back off), zip up carefully from tail to neck, clip harness together and finally pull the rear elastic loops over each back leg.NegativesThe only annoyance we’ve found is the sizing. I originally purchased the red colourway in a Medium size but this turned out to be huge. I hesitated before buying the Small as it should have been too small but it fits perfectly. (Our Benji dog is a slightly-above-average size cockapoo.) Ordered late Fri night arrived Sunday morning. I'm working away, pack leader sent photos - she is impressed, liKeswick fitted chest, weatherproof material & high viz stripes; "their both alaeep on sofa with rasher ears".

There is nothing not to like about this jacket. It came the next day and is better than it looks. The material is excellent and it really does cover all of you're dogs. I ordered xs for my Shih Tzu, and is a good size. I have purchased a few jackets, and some I have spent up to £50 on. You will definately not be disappointed by the quality.

Looked great. With a barrel chested dog (Boxer) I've had issues with coats that do up around the waist.....his is narrow, and some of the breast plate ones are stretched too much, making them tight around his armpits.With this zipping up along his back, it didn't slip sideways, and with the back leg loops, didn't blow half way up his back with a tail wind!And he had lots of compliments!

I ordered two of these jackets, one small and the other extra small, they looked exactly what I was looking for. They arrived on different days, the first was fine, good size, harness adjusted to fit well.When the 2nd one arrived I was pleased with it until I found the harness was far too big. The straps are much wider and the rings where you would attach a lead are bigger than the ones on the small sized jacket, it appears that the harness has been made for a large jacket and attached to an extra small one. The harness might fit a labrador!Very disappointing because other than this the jackets are what I had hoped to receive.I want two jackets the same so I have ordered another one in the hope that it will have been made correctly this time, if not all three will have to be returned.

This coat is beautifully made, however my lovely lurcher & I encountered a few issues.First the closures harness and zip were not useable for me. The zip was too fiddly as it requires fully opening and closing instead of passing over the head which we both find extremely easy. The harness clasp to stiff for me to open and close without help and we already have a very good harness so really not helpful for us.Second the coat was way too big.My dog is 27 inches and quite solid for a lurcher but this was swimming on him in both length and girth. I would say he’s similar build to a pointer or a slim viszla. This quite surprised me given that a standard greyhound coat is so tight on him that he can’t move.I would say if you are happy with the method of putting on and removal, and your dogs is built more along the shape of a boxer or even more solid than that, this would be an excellent choice, however, for us,Our search continues...

Was very pleased with the quality of this coat and it gave good protection from the wind and rain. However I had to return this coat because although the body length was correct and it fit correctly around the neck and appeared to be OK around the chest the inbuilt harness would not adjust small enough around the chest. I was afraid it was so loose that when the dog was off its lead it could get caught on the branch of a tree or bush. My dogs are at the lower end of the chest measurement and I would think it would be OK for a dog with a larger chest measurement.

Despite measuring my dog and her being a medium we had to return the it as miles to big so to be on safe side we ordered xs and a small small was still to big but xs fitted just nice easy to put on harness bit is a bonus be careful when returning tho first return was free when returning the second coat had to pay £3.99 not good as unexpected. So despite this the jacket has been worth the aggravation and the unexpected returns cost.
