Once applied to the vehicle, is it possible to be removed without damaging the paint and finish?

Hello, here are instructions for removal: Using two tools; wrap string around both of them, (screwdrivers, etc.), leave about 6” of the string between the two. At the corner of the moldings, slip the string between the moldings and the vehicle. Work the string back and forth, this will cut the 3M tape, do this until you can grab some of the molding with your hand. Push downward, toward the ground, this helps to release the tape from the vehicle. You may see some tape left on the vehicle; use your thumb to rub this off. A degreasing product should help to soften the tape. It’s not easy, and will take some time, but you will not damage the paint. Thank you, SPORTWING

I live in a very hot and humid place during summer, how good is the 3M tape to hold?

I am in Baltimore with temperature fluctuations. On one side of the car the molding popped off on one side and fell off the car completely before trying to reseal it. Purchased another set since I like the product and so far it is holding firmly on both sides. It may have been an operator error in applying the first one so I gave the product the benefit of the doubt and it has paid off so far
